Mr.Ianam i must appreciate you for this effort, there were 2 punjabi films made in lahore that time one was Gul Bakavali & 2nd Chawdhari, Master Ghulam Haider was hit music director and i 1st time heard his voice with Madam Noor Jahan

'chawdhari jee' was the name of the film when pancholi art started it, later changed to 'chawdhari, directed by 'naranjan'music ghulam haider, lyricist was f.d.sharf, baby noor jehan and ghulam mohammed and pran krishan were in the film. released in 'parbhat cinema' on 22nd aug.1941.shaukat rizvi was called from culcutta to picturise noor's songs
