Holy CRAP. I TOTALLY FORGOT about this show! I'm an early 80's baby so I definitely grew up watching shows like this. Kids Incorporated... wow.

Using this song again worked in 1987. One, because Kim Wilde's SAW Euro-disco became a monster hit here that year. Plus, in line with the episode's plot about Stacy and The Kid's friendship in danger of being torn over money, it fits with what's going on perfectly. The performance comes out emotionally resonant especially since in past Kids Inc. episodes, they had established Stacy and The Kid as pretty close in the group. Definitely a highlight performance in 1987 of the series.
