No, that was Marni Nixon, who also voiced Deborah Kerr in the King and I and Natalie Wood in West Side Story. Betty Noyes..and Betty played the queen in the Rogers and Hammerstein Cinderella (with Leslie Ann Warren) and sang for Dumbo...not sure what else. Fascinating women, these dubbers. Marni Nixon is incredible.
@peteole yeah and apparently they had to pay to get the rights for it, just for that one bit. I think hers is the best a cappella version of this song around.
BETTY NOYES doing the singing for Debbie Reynolds. Debbie had a pleasant voice of her own, but the notes here were a tad high for her, plus she was extremely young at this time so her voice wasn't perhaps mature enough yet -
it's not confusing - in this movie, some of the songs are actually sung by Debbie such as "Good Mornin" but in "Would You" and the above clip vocalist Betty Noyes dubbed in Debbie's vocals.

While the film makes a central point of the idea that Kathy's voice is dubbed over Lina Lamont's, what is not told is that, ironically, in some of these songs - notably "Would You" and "You Are My Lucky Star" - Debbie Reynolds, the actress who plays Kathy, is actually dubbed by Betty Noyes. However, Reynolds' own singing voice can be heard on the outtake footage of "Lucky Star" as performed next to the giant billboard of Gene Kelly.
Also take a look at The Band Wagon - another great MGM musical. I would put West Side Story and The King and I in the list but what bothers me about them is that the stars have dubbed voices. Why, in this big wide wonderful world, they could find triple threat actors to fill such roles as Tony, Maria and Anna, I can't understand. They had a bad habit of NOT letting the Bway stars do the movies. I think the egregious example of Julie Andrews not doing Camelot and My Fair Lady really stands out.

how sad she did the vocals for many stars but wasn't given credit for it. She did the singing for Audrey Hepburn as well.
