when i press start joikuspot on my nokia 5530 it says "allow connection to external devices" and i choose yes but nothing happened it just says joikuspot stopped on screen

it makes your phone act as wireless router .. ..am enjoying my 3g speed on my laptop without any cable or suites .. fabulous app .. but one thing put your phone in charging while using the application : ) .. cheers .

As the Nokia N900 is based on Maemo, you can simply recompile your kernel with NAT support, and it will support the same functionality as joikuspot premium does, except for free.

I like the concept of JoikuSpot, but I can't get it to start in encrypted mode on my N95 8GB. I'm using JoikuSpot Premium 2.50. It starts up fine with factory settings, but the moment I name it and use WEP encryption it fails to start.

Sony PSP and Nintendo DS require WLAN infrastructure mode. JoikuSpot does not support this yet.

1.Thankyou but i got to know that psp also do support wireless connection in adhoc mode but for some reason sony has blocked it for only playstation products.

2.and chip in the mobie phones are not so designed to support as a wifi router in infrastructure mode......cause of some laws that protect it from doing so

use the nokia pc suite, its in the cd that came with ur phone, on ur computer then just follow the steps
