@hvartidill Doesn't matter, if his pads we're made of turtle skin, or his flute was made of cooper, he still would be playing amazingly.

In many ways, Pahud is the standard. He takes this very happy movement about as fast as it should go, with complete clarity at every moment. Nice close ups of his fingering and embouchure, which is really instructive and revealing of his tonguing technique.

@flutemagician Oh, i also thought that. But this recording is very old, isn't it? He was 22 then, if i'm not mistaken.

@4gnostic Yes, in fact I think that is his first recording, and i wasn´t from EMI classics, it was an independent recording company, Musiques Suisses I think.

@flutemagician You're totally wrong on that point....any flutist can tell from his embouchure that he's playing. It isn't perfectly synched. Perhaps that's your issue...

@peterkussell I think the point was, that it sounds exactly like on an old recording of his. I can't 100% confirm that, because i lost this recording. But i also thought so like flutemagician.

(But i can 100% confirm that with the lensky video! I have this recording.)
