  • I closed my eyes and took it all in....get piano playing and piece here...

  • How great!!!

  • I could see Bruce Hornsby doing this..

  • I love all the renditions of this song from Ramsey Lewis to Quincy Jones and Vince Guaraldi to George Winston. He definitely puts a different, but nice, spin to it! Thanks lure76!

  • The great Vince Guaraldi's signature song --i believe George Winston's version here is equally bittersweet and enigmatic. Winston is doing it without a drummer and bassist --pretty amazing work --

  • Amazing composition always loved it - and this upload is the icing on the cake. Beautiful upload.

  • ... really wonderful!

  • I love this song.I jus learned to play it

  • WOW!! first time ive ever seen this

  • this is my favorite rendition of the song, especially between 0:50 and 2:00.

  • @samsonbristol --it's the 2:25 to 2:55 part for me.

  • I think he missed a note at 1:35, then corrected it? What's so great about him, is that "I THINK" he missed it.

  • @dawgs770 I thinks it's not a miss, dawgs --he's modulating between the C-sharp and the G-sharp --the heart of the song, really --the fall of the chirpy face to the note of sadness beneath it.

  • tres belle version de cette piece musicale mythique ...!!!

  • How do you play piano that good?

  • @mrleonzeyuliu yet also having such an unconventional technique.

  • Guaraldi's remake is superb. Usually a remake is not as good as the original. David Benoit's rendition is not bad.

Hearing lots of Guaraldi's "Charlie Brown Christmas" around Christmas time on the Weather Channel. BTW, what version(s) of this song do they play on TWC?

Raceltaylor101 you keep up the piano as we need someone to "keep the torch lit" IMHO jazz seems to be in the back light as rap and hip hop are in the fore light. Same with New Age.

  • I have always wondered how he did that last section of the song. He held one of is hands on the piano strings and played the keys that go to those strings.

  • love it :-) nobody appriciates music like this anymore... but I am 14 and learning this on piano. I aspire to someday play as well as George Winston and Vince Guaraldi :-)

  • I have this recording and always wondered how he got that sound at the end...now I know ;-)

    Absolutely amazing!

  • Really beautiful. Wow! from Jerrye Albert

  • Simply amazing!

  • Wow! Very moving.

  • Amazing tune. Simply brilliant!
