spore is a good game, (my most favorite game EVER!) but Maxis could have checked for problems or played it themselves to see the bad glitches and fixed them. (i.e BAD_DATA,space empire morphing,terrain problems.) I've experienced 2/3 of those problems but I still love the game! ^.^

Space empire morphing is when the game automatically locks a creature so you can't play as them any more so if you have an empire and it gets locked (caused by a bug in the captains log.) it chooses a random creature to replace it then the saved game disappears.

It's from the old Aquatic Stage that didn't make it to the full game due to animation issues. They might include it in an expansion, though.

yeah, it doesn't affect anything though... you can see a dark spot moving over the world on the minimap and it gets a bit darker - not dark enough where you would need a light to see anything though.

False, TotalSpores owner and Admin Kyle, went to a Spore Official Convention. He came back to state that stars can't be blown up. As well as im pretty sure Gas planets can't be terraformed (that wasn't in the interview thing)

its a waste of time to destroy planets,i say abduct a couple of each species(including intelligent) and use the carbon dioxide thing to kill everything on the planet and populate a new world with your prisoners and come back every so often to destroy any technology they build,then you can use them sorta like playthings (feed them to monsters,throw em on a lava world,blow em up,throw em etc.)

The game's release date has yet again been pushed further to 2008 in order to significantly "revamp" the game. They've improved upon the playing atmosphere to levels like 'Cell' and such. The fundamentals remain the same, but I can't freaking wait for this game to release!!
