its a shadow on ur recording film.. people with tapes or disks that have been recorded over many times start to get odd shadows on them and u start to see traces of what was on the film before you recorded it

I was raised my entire to believe in ghosts. No other explanations for anything were ever given when something "odd" happened in our house...which was often. I dunno buts its great. Im not buyin dust or smoke are a finger. Its transparent and you can see clearly top n bottom. if it was finger it pass the bottom fully. dust is not light bown either and if its a hair, try debunking by passisg a strand of hair directly in front of the lens plus we dont know how long they taped for. kids dancing in the playpen are 13 sec long. It also looks like the camera itself adjusts to the lighting itself to focus as soon as it came into view.

A "guild" spirit????? That's one of the funniest things I have ever heard. This is a piece of dust. Seen these types of things millions of times. I get this same thing every time I shoot video in my basement under certain lighting conditions. If you shoot a lot of video and stills, you'll get to know this well... and that it screws up many shots.

Actually, what went across the screen is a tiny particle of dust, but because of the extreme closeness to the camera lens, it appears transparent only because it's so out of focus.
