true story. ozzy wanted buckethead to play for him one year at ozzfest but buckethead wouldn't get rid of his bucket thus putting ozzy in a british rage. you gotta have a lot of pride for your appearance to turn down ozzy.
i went to skip through some of the song so my ears wouldn't explode from how awesome the music is and i accidentally hit the mute button , i thought for sure my ears exploded.
@snakev10v5 the wholealbum Bucketheadland 2 is fucken cool! Have You heard Rooster Landing/Lime Time? THEY TOOK MY CHICKEENS AWAYYY AND NOW THEY'RE GONA PAYY :D
Are you kidding me??? LOL, this makes my soul sing like noting else on earth!!! There is no other like the BH, other than the poeple who feel it, like he does! Lucky ones, the prophets of light!
no, buckethead is buckethead. he can't be compared to any other artist... in any way. jason becker is the modern day beethoven. he composes amazing classical pieces and music of other sorts with nothing but his eyes, one note at a time. he hears notes in his head and plays them one note at a time organizing them in genius ways.
I love Buckethead's beautiful guitar work on these songs. Albums like Buckethead Land are interesting, but no where near as masterful as this. Captain EO's Voyage, Colma, and Electric Tears are his best albums by far.
what about shadows between the sky? i personally think that elephant man's alarm clock is his best album to date. it has the most variety and it has what might be his best song (lurker at the threshold).
@Markytho check out soothsayer, nottingham lace, jordan, asylum of glass, sail on soothsayer, siege engine, the redeem team, ghost host, king james and theres millions more to check
Been a fan of Big B, Death cube K, The shape, buckethead (its all the same) for a long time now. I seriously cant get enough of him. He truly is my drug of choice
Never heard of Buckethead before but I'm now glad I do. Thanks for uploading this and I'll have to checkout some more of their music. It's kind of like subtle music to my ears as if the melodies haven't quite finished like spot effects, but this isn't criticism at all and is very effective. It's almost as if it adds to the beauty and of course this goes down well as relaxation music to me, but it's good in its own right as well as tells its own story. I also like the cover of this album lots
I'm new to BH music also..just discovered him 4 mths ago. I've never come across anyone like him with his virtuosity and versatility in all various styles he plays. Even country chicken pickin' style. He IS the BEST!
I agree with all of you.I try to tell people about Buckethead.I think the name Buckethead stirs up something in there brains to put up a wall of mistrust. After all the name Buckethead doesnt sound like a serious musical entity if you just go by the name.I admit I didnt take him seriously by his name. His music just blasted out my preconceived opinion. He is truely a genius.Over 4 years ago i heard some Praxis and that was the beginingHe has no equals. He can't be of this Earth.
Buckethead is without a single doubt one of the greatest, if not THE greatest musical genius of this decade. And he will be just as impossibly brilliant until the day he dies (if he can actually die that is, it's hard to be so perfect and still be human)
OMG I cannot believe such genius.
