Did you know they made a remake of this game in 2007.Its called Diddy kong racing DS (obvisely) sorry for the spelling. and that was a decade ago (as in 2007). a few things change in the DS one though.I never played the N64 version but I would like to try it (Banjo and Conker wasn't in the DS one because they're owned by rare which their with microsoft now).

i always hated honkin my horn on this game in races cause it automatically fire the CPU's weapons

that usually resulted in my get shot by a homing missle

all in all though, this game was excellent

I don't think it will be available because of Banjo and Conker on the roster, which would cause a legal conflict with Microsoft, who now owns Rare and those two charcters.

Your only best bet is the DS remake. Banjo and Conker were replaced by Dixie and Tiny.
