Maybe it is, but it does minimal damage to bosses and bosses are the one time I'm not using Trans-ON for transport rather than damage.

Well, I wouldnt use it for bosses, but for the stage it works just fine, plus in bosses ZX is your best choice often

I agree with the ZX comment, but the Homing Shot is a bit weak for my liking. I tend to stick with charge shots where I can.
