Hilarious. To get it you have to have either seen or be familiar with the concept of at least one cheesy scary movie that blended the theme with psychology and supernatural phenomenon. They made tons of them in the 80s. The best mainstream example would be The Shining. The b movies had the better examples of the close up shots of facial expressions depicting terror, and they would be over the top and last much longer than necessary to "pad" the films length.
