With Red9 and the Broken butterfly, with all the upgrades available at that point, I killed him in less than a minute. He didn't even have time to attack me once. (I did it twice, perhaps Im too lucky).

Use the Red9 on the the as fast as possible, once you see you have "hurted" it, unload the BB on his head as fast as possible, twice should be far enough

As said, perhaps I'm too lucky and got lots of criticals. I should record it. All you need is good aiming, which is easier with the Wii ;).

Salazar and Saddler are my two favorite Resident Evil bosses ever. ( I haven't played Resident Evil 5 yet so I don't know about that game).

you mean the broken butterfly?

you can even find it in the game, somewhere in the castle in a room you pass quite early without ashley, yet can get in there only with her, so you have to get back later and send her through the window to unlock the door for you.

Nicely done. I started it this way but ran low on health and ammo so devised a new strategy that could be useful for anyone stuck on this.

Go down a floor and hide in one of the corners, kill the spider things to get items but listen for Salazar to say "you can see" or "pull him back". These are the calls for the jaws to attack. When they do, Salazar is exposed but the jaws can't reach you. So, get your rifle out and get some good headshots at Salazar until he dies. Time consuming but safer!

if you get the exclusive with the semi auto rifle, if maxes the attack speed to the same as the red 9, you can kill him with only hitting the eye once

No offense, but for me, only cowards beat RE 4 bosses with the Rocket Launcher.I mean, killing a boss in one hit isn't funny, it doesn't have the difficulty a boss should have and the player

doesn't develop an strategy to beat it.I respect your opinion I hope you respect mine.

i killed all bosses with the RL but since all RES bosses in the end make u use one istill used it on the others but implaying through it on Pro without RL

I fought him for like 20 minutes. My fight went down to the rim. I ran out of ammo in the begining and had no herbs so I kept on running around and dodging and whatnot. I thought he was going to kill me in one more hit but I survived and got ammo from the things that crawl on the ground.

it is you have to wait for that thing to open up so you can see him and then shoot (i aimed for the head :)

simple. even on professional mode, a fully tuned up semi-auto rifle, just 20 shots right at salazar, boom dead. plus lots of dodging...

With this one I used the mine launcher and the TMP. The mine's for the eye, it really didn't matter if I hit it on the spot, the blast was wide enough. Then when salazar came out I used the TMP and just sprayed him. Repeated this process twice and salazar was done. Really didn't need to move at all.

But honestly, this boss is the one enjoyed killing the most, he's so damn annoying.

Same here although i used the TMP only. I just stood right near the edge and hit the eyeball (damn this was easy), my TMP was nearly upgraded fully so it didn't take many hits to knock the eye thingy down and reveal Salazer, then i shot him and in no time the fight was over, i didn't even get touched once for goodness sake. Ah well it was fun.

I look at it as though i was doing him a favour. I mean did he really want to spend the rest of his life incorporated into that giant Plaga Plant thingy with that Verdugo as well?..I don't care if his answer is yes i would have killed him anyway and enjoyed every minute of it. XD

Salazar was never hard. On my playthroughs against him, I never got hit. The thing you should do is just shoot the tentacle so it can go in the wall, and then target the eyeball. Take out your rage on Salazar and the battle should be quick without any damage.
