  • Thank you so much i could not figure out why my comporessor would not engage and hopefully this works I have a Ford F-150 1999 5.4 liter is this fuse under hood or dash.

    Thanks Terry

  • How do you do that to a 2005 ford taurus?

  • There are usually good reasons why your computer won't engage the clutch on the compressor. Specifically if your system is low on pressure or empty. That combined with forcing a constant-on duty cycle are much more likely to burn out your compressor faster and/or make your initial problem even worse in the end. It is much better to diagnose the problem and fix it properly rather than running your car with paperclips in the fuse box.

  • @sephoratrading You really should have read his description.

  • Yup helped me alot, I did this on my 98 chevy suburban and sure enough it worked. After i engaged i heard a loud hissing where the hoses go into the firewall of the truck and they seem pretty loose, therefore the air is not getting in to the cabin. Thanx for the tip

  • do all a/c compressers have clutches?

  • Nice car?? You dont even get a good look at it, not saying that its not, but! Good vid ;)

  • it's 30 and 87...not 87a. 30 and 87a are connected when the relay is off. 30 and 87 are connected when the relay is on.

  • Thanks for the tip'.. awesome.

  • Thank you for the info you helped me alot and made it more simple to understand! And Nice Car by the way!

  • @klintonq thanks :)

  • @ellswortha101 so you connect 87a and 30?
