I have never had an issue with dating outside of my race, i wasn't raised to date only black men. I have dated both. Now im only 25 but i am not going to limit myself to one race either so if i marry a black man that's great, if i marry a white man that's great. Other races of women actually stick with you and when they do approach you, I don't get this conditional vibe from them. It’s a damn shame when I think of the horror that Black Women have evoked onto their own men in this country. With reverence, I sympathize with the black man’s plight. I was married to a very successful black man (doctor) for 20 years. I divorced him because he did not treat my children or me well. He also was full of himself with a lot of women outside throwing themselves at him. Now that I am divorced and raising 2 children, I don't seem to have any trouble finding men (black and white)who are wonderful. I just choose to raise my kids. Ladies, just be decent and stop dropping into everybody's bed. That makes it difficult for you to find interested men.

Yes, but you also see a lot of successful black men married to non-black women: Quincy Jones, Sidney Portier, Kobe Bryant, Bryant Gumbel, Terrence Howard, Tiger Woods(even though they are filing for divorce), and pretty much every other athlete or entreprenuer. It's crazy but I do see the common trend. Some black men, and even some black women, don't feel like they have truly made it until they find someone from another race, particularly white people, that want them. It's sad indeed.

Interesting that we frequently hear black women complain about black men dating other races. The truth is that the majority of interracial marriages are White men with Asian women. We never hear Asian men talking about their dating issues. I think that would be an interesting topic but for some reason it is rarely presented. I'm curious as to why this is.

I was married to a very successful black man (doctor) for 20 years. I divorced him because he did not treat my children or me well. He also was full of himself with a lot of women outside throwing themselves at him. Now that I am divorced and raising 2 children, I don't seem to have any trouble finding men (black and white)who are wonderful. I just choose to raise my kids. Ladies, just be decent and stop dropping into everybody's bed. That makes it difficult for you to find interested men.
