I believe Team Colonel is the "canon" game, mostly because it has the "full" ending as well as ties in better with BN6, in which you learn more about Colonel. In addition, TC also has more of the "classic" Navis that you know from previous games, such as Knightman.

@TyrannisUmbra Actually, both versions have the same amount of Navis from previous games, being 5 (including MegaMan). Two new ones are introduced in each game, Meddy and GyroMan in Team Protoman, and Colonel and TomahawkMan in Team Colonel. I could very well be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that's what it is.

When Dr. Hikari said "...my dad's son..." I nearly choked on my Cheerios. Even if it IS grammatically correct, it sounds so funny. If he'd said "The son of [the original] Dr. Hikari" or something, it would've sounded better, but...they way it's worded cracks me up.

there are two ways to fight bass.

One: get to nebula area 6 and do the slaying of your ally's ds. when done, face against chaos lord and get the giga chip. then jack out and go to nebula area 6 and slay the ds's again around 25-40 sec. then go to where you fought chaos lord and you should trigger a cutscene about pressure and some crap and a message said "battle against me". the rest is simple.

Two: BCM cheat is required to meet this one. the shademan mission. walk around there.

If you know the original series you know It's Dr. Light verses Dr. Wily.

Dr. Hikari's dad is another Dr. Hikari who worked with Wily to create Navis.
