First there's an exhausted Kakashi after fighting Itachi with about 40% if not less of his strength and deidara who didn't had to do much. Then there's Kakuzu who's stronger one on one. And pein with just one body (his best body though) was enough to kill him. On the other hand there is Kisame who lost to team gai with 40%, defeated KillerBee (without A) But Closely lost to gai

I'd have to give the fight to Kakashi. People reference how well the Kisame clone did against Guy at only 30% chakra. The thing is though, chakra doesn't always represent speed and strength. He would have been able to use many more techniques and jutsu but I don't think that would translate into a win. Kakashi is a better technical fighter compared to Guy and would be able to get around Kisame's jutsu better. It wouldn't be easy and he might even get mortally wounded, but Kakashi would still win
Kisame is far beyond lead Jonin level. He defeats the four-tails alone and complains that he's a bit tired. Don't see kakashi doing that. Kisame has an amazing chakra pool. Karin said that she had never felt so much chakra on one place. More then Killerbee. Kisame is one of the strongest of akatsuki I think only Pein,Madara and Itachi where above him.

I´d say that Kisame might be able to win against Kakashi cause i expext him to show some more potential (not only massive chakra but real skills) in the upcoming fight against killerbee, but considering Kakshi´s strategic strength and his ability to adapt to his enemies Kisame would definitely not eat him alive. Kakashi was dominated by Demon Realm Pein, i doubt he would be a match for Kisame. Kisame fought Gai when he was 30% and Gai had to go to the sixth gate to defeat him. Gai is an equal, if not better match to Kakashi. Kisame would win.

i think the biggest problem here for kakashi is chakra reserves, its been shown that kakashi cant use sharingan for very long,on the other hand kisame has a loooooooot of chakra,so much that he can make water out of nothing,same as Nidaime. hmmm could kakashi really go up against 2 jonin and 2 chunin the same way kisame did? hmmm....but its true wat u said elemental advantanges can switch things up a bit,so i cant really decide on this one but im going slightly for kisame :( (about 51%-49%)

The only reason guy open up the chakra gates and perform the morning peacock to beat kisame was because of tenten. Tenten useless, weak self was running out of air, so guy had no choice but to end the battle quickly. If it wasn't for tenten guy would of took his sweet time and whoop kisame butt without a doubt. Actually members of Akatsuki lean towards an indirect approach until it's the final move....you notice that every episode they are in if it's not really needed then they will not fight....but never take that as a weakness.

there is no way Kisame is on the same level as Kakashi. Kakashi is so intellectual that he gave naruto the idea of how to create fuuton rasenshuriken which Tsunade classified as a forbidden justsu. Kisame took on all of team Gai at 30%. He'd beat kakashi pretty easily right now. but hopefully after what happens in the current arc kakashi will get a power-up. Elemental advantage... First off Kisame has almost 3x the amount of chakra as a normal ninja. Losing 70% of his chakra is much different from any other ninja losing 70% of their chakra mainly because he can eat it back. On top of that kakashi can use kumai to send kisame to another world. U also said electricity has no elemental advantage against water. I know what u mean because in the chart even though water is in front lightning it's still not a direct relationship.
Another thing, Sasuke didn't kill Itachi. Itachi died from sickness. He also basically commited suicide by using techniques that were hard on his body and not dodging attack he could easily dodge. This was confirmed by Zetsu AND Tobi/Madara. Sasuke could have never beaten Itachi and Zetsu made that perfectly clear during their fight. Sasuke failed to beat Itachi when he wasn't trying AND while he was sick. That's because Itachi was one of the strongest ninja ever.

I'm a Kakashi fan, but Kisame is on a different level. We havn't seen his full strength yet. He took out the 4 tail Jinchuriki without even being scratched. I know from what we've seen Kakashi might pull off a victory, but we've only seen Kisame at 30%, and he took out ALL of team Gai and even made him use gates. Kakashi and Gai are almost equal in strength. Kamui is good, yes, but it takes too much prep time. Kisame could just tuen the battlefield into an ocean, or trap him in that water prison
Let's take into account that one of the last times we saw the use of Kumai was when kakashi fought deidara. That was 100 episodes ago, Im pretty sure Kakashi has improved the technique 10 fold. dont deny that. if kakashi took samehada from kisame what would be the result. remember in shippuden 13 when Gai took samehada. Kisame set off a mechanism that cut Gai's fingers. This lets us know that samehada is valuable and that it is the source of kisame's power. what ninja is kisame w/o it? THINK

You havn't given any proof that Kakashi could beat Kisame besides his Kamui. 100 chapters ago doesn't mean much, it's not like 100 days have passed since then, infact it's only been 1-2 months now. He's not going to get 10x stronger in 2 months, it just doesn't happen. Either way, for MOST of that time Kakashi was even in the hospita, so he's only even been out for 1 month, and he probabl used that month to get back into shape. Getting 10x stronger is unrealistic.

I would also give the battle to Rock Lee simply because we have seen Suigetsu fight against the 8 tails and he can't handle advanced taijutsu and speed. Rock Lee would definately deliver in this fight, but the simple fact that Suigetsu can control his mass wouldn't make the fight as simple as throwing punches.

Kakashi cant even beat naruto or sasuke. ur tripn. lol when was the last time Kakashi beat anyone on his own? he couldnt even beat itachi at 40% and even if he did thats nothn good. lol come on u dont even know what Kisame can do really. u seen him fight like 2 times. kakashi is worthless now, always hurt. plus his sharingan takes up a lot of his chakra.

you have to remember that itachi is actually a good guy isn't he? so he wasn't planning on fighting jiraiya. plus kisame fought might guy's team at 30% and he was taking them on until guy went sixth gate on him. Neji even said that he has a tremendous amount of chakra. and that was at 30 % Akatsuki even commented on his chakra. plus his sword could take chakra. You also should remember that everybody in Akatsuki are S-class ninjas. Kakashi probably is 2 but barely. I give the fight 2 Kisame.

kakashi would win beacuse in the zabuza fight kakashi negated waterstyle jutsu then kisame with superior chakra would dish out extra justu to give kisame the advantage then kakashi would use some kind of chidori combo and even out the fight then the fight would be taijutsu and white chakra vs samehada and some remaining watre style, i personally think that kakashi would win with superior speed but kisames samehada chakra leech would win if kakashi got hit exesivly and vise versa

Kakashi was dominated by Demon Realm Pein, i doubt he would be a match for Kisame. Kisame fought Gai when he was 30% and Gai had to go to the sixth gate to defeat him. Gai is an equal, if not better match to Kakashi. Kisame would win.

but akatsuki r few in number,we only know of 10 by far and thats not really a lot of ninja, its so rare to find ninja stronger than sannin,and that includes for upcoming characters that arent introduced yet,of all the ninja in the world i doubt masashi kishimoto will even introduce 95% of the total ninja out there

i think the reason u say kisame is pretty weak for an akatsuki is cuz ur comparing him with other stronger members of akatsuki; itachi,pein,madara, etc. i mean really he has skill and all,but his chakra...i mean he practically turned a desert into an ocean,more or less, and even after all that kisame didnt look the slightest bit fatigued,waaaaay too much chakra for an average ninja in my opinion

i think the biggest problem here for kakashi is chakra reserves, its been shown that kakashi cant use sharingan for very long,on the other hand kisame has a loooooooot of chakra,so much that he can make water out of nothing,same as Nidaime. hmmm could kakashi really go up against 2 jonin and 2 chunin the same way kisame did? hmmm....but its true wat u said elemental advantanges can switch things up a bit,so i cant really decide on this one but im going slightly for kisame :( (about 51%-49%)

you said it perfectly, we do not know what kisame is capable of. with that being said we can not count out kisame because we have not idea what he is capable of. by the way kakashi would even qualify as an akatsuki member. he is not good enough. plus kisame can eat all of kakashi's chakra. he does not need to cut him with his blade all he has to do swipe it in has direction !!! My money is on kisame. saying that kakashi can beat kisame is like saying kakashi can beat sasori or diedara.

The only reason guy open up the chakra gates and perform the morning peacock to beat kisame was because of tenten. Tenten useless, weak self was running out of air, so guy had no choice but to end the battle quickly. If it wasn't for tenten guy would of took his sweet time and whoop kisame butt without a doubt. I don't think kakashi is more powerful than guy.

Oh yeah, forgot. Akatsuki only has S-Rank ninjas. Jiraiya was superior to Orochimaru and Tsunade. Proof being, obvious enough, Orochimaru is better then Tsunade...Sasuke beat Orochimaru...Jiraiya >>>>>>> Sasuke. By far. This being said, Jiraiya isn't like a normal S-Rank. Plus, Kakashi is a Jounin, as known, maybe a Joui Jounin, but Kisame is S-Rank. Kisame > Kakashi.

when kakashi were about to fight kisame and itachi told him to stop coz he would have suffered unnecessary injuries, i dunno how much that meant regarding who is stronger :S, we haven't seen kisame at full strength at all yet, the fact that he's still alive means a lot regarding how strong he is if you ask me. Too early to say who's stronger to be perfectly honest. Although there won't be any more time to guess by the look of it if kakashi is about to die! Also kisame's sword will always return!

there is no way Kisame is on the same level as Kakashi. Kakashi is so intellectual that he gave naruto the idea of how to create fuuton rasenshuriken which Tsunade classified as a forbidden justsu. So if you ask me Kakashi is on Kage level. Another thing I want to add is that Gai and Kakashi are equals. We know this because the gates surpass Kage level and on top of that Kakashi had to mimic Gai's taijustsu to perfect chidori.

All I have to say is first off kakshi has and elemental advantage over kisame. two it doesnt matter how much chakra kisame has. if he uses all of his chakra on water techniques, which are the only ones he knows then he'll lose. furthermore i dont give a fuck what itachi said, he got killed by his little brother. Kisame took on all of team Gai at 30%. He'd beat kakashi pretty easily right now. but hopefully after what happens in the current arc kakashi will get a power-up. Elemental advantage... Kakashi doesn't actually have that. It's wierd, but lightning has elemental advantage over earth, not water. Don't ask why, but that's how it is. Kisame could create a battlefield of water, and just send sharks to kill Kakashi. Kakashi can't attack Kisame because he'd hurt himself (Water conducts electricity)

First off Kisame has almost 3x the amount of chakra as a normal ninja. Losing 70% of his chakra is much different from any other ninja losing 70% of their chakra mainly because he can eat it back. On top of that kakashi can use kumai to send kisame to another world. U also said electricity has no elemental advantage against water. I know what u mean because in the chart even though water is in front lightning it's still not a direct relationship.

Another thing, Sasuke didn't kill Itachi. Itachi died from sickness. He also basically commited suicide by using techniques that were hard on his body and not dodging attack he could easily dodge. This was confirmed by Zetsu AND Tobi/Madara. Sasuke could have never beaten Itachi and Zetsu made that perfectly clear during their fight. Sasuke failed to beat Itachi when he wasn't trying AND while he was sick. That's because Itachi was one of the strongest ninja ever.

I'm a Kakashi fan, but Kisame is on a different level. We havn't seen his full strength yet. He took out the 4 tail Jinchuriki without even being scratched. I know from what we've seen Kakashi might pull off a victory, but we've only seen Kisame at 30%, and he took out ALL of team Gai and even made him use gates. Kakashi and Gai are almost equal in strength. Kamui is good, yes, but it takes too much prep time. Kisame could just tuen the battlefield into an ocean, or trap him in that water prison

Let's take into account that one of the last times we saw the use of Kumai was when kakashi fought deidara. That was 100 episodes ago, Im pretty sure Kakashi has improved the technique 10 fold. dont deny that. if kakashi took samehada from kisame what would be the result. remember in shippuden 13 when Gai took samehada. Kisame set off a mechanism that cut Gai's fingers. This lets us know that samehada is valuable and that it is the source of kisame's power. what ninja is kisame w/o it? THINK

You havn't given any proof that Kakashi could beat Kisame besides his Kamui. 100 chapters ago doesn't mean much, it's not like 100 days have passed since then, infact it's only been 1-2 months now. He's not going to get 10x stronger in 2 months, it just doesn't happen. Either way, for MOST of that time Kakashi was even in the hospita, so he's only even been out for 1 month, and he probabl used that month to get back into shape. Getting 10x stronger is unrealistic.

Sometime there are 1 hour specials but then they also usually skip a week, so it'd still average out to 1 a week. And I meant in NARUTO time. a year hasn't passed in Naruto time, only like 2 months as I said. You obviously didn't read. It could be 500 chapters later, and only 3 days have passed in the manga. It doesn't mean they'll be 10 years stronger.

Haha, im gonna guess your a Rock Lee fan ;). That would be an interesting fight. I would also give the battle to Rock Lee simply because we have seen Suigetsu fight against the 8 tails and he can't handle advanced taijutsu and speed. Rock Lee would definately deliver in this fight, but the simple fact that Suigetsu can control his mass wouldn't make the fight as simple as throwing punches.

Kisame fought team guy with half his chackra. and with over 4 times kakashi's chackra and with samehada that drains chackra from kakashi. and in Naruto lightning beats rock and rock beats water. so when kisame turns the area into water then kakashi is elektrocuting himself.
