  • kudos to Jindal for refusing the "fake" printed money!! He's literally saving his state and its liberty by refusing this bribe..

  • I am posting it NOW because Bobby Jindal is entering the national spotlight, and the public deserves to know more FACTS about him and who he is so that they can make INFORMED CHOICES (instead of being brainwashed, propagandized, and led like sheep to the slaughter).

  • I'm sorry, why is this JUST NOW getting posted? It's fucking Feb/Mar of 2009 for Christ sake. More of the same--slow response to emergencies I guess.

  • That is precisely the point. It was a non-event, in terms of people's lives.

Katrina could have been a non-event, too, but because you had an incompetent DEMOCRAT Governor who dropped the ball, a bunch of people died. But of course, everything is Bush's fault. You could accidentally run over your dog with your car and you would blame Bush.

Two words for you and your kind: Truly Pathetic.

  • And what happened to New Orleans as a result of Gustav? Virtually nothing. Picked up people, shipped them out, sent people to congested highways, the stupid mayor said we'd be experiencing "The mother of all storms" -- all that to do it again and again and again. P.S. Contraflow: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

  • You're right, he's a SADIST. Sadists always work their hineys off to ensure that thousands of people do not die. That is just sadistic! How cruel of him to not allow people to be killed by Hurricane Gustav!

  • I feel sorry for the people of Louisiana! They should be fucking protesting in the streets! He's a SADIST!

  • Black people should be outraged that Obama is going to destroy the economy (the Dow has dropped an unprecedented2500 points since he got elected), put even more people out of work with his anti-business and pro-union policies, drive our country into bankruptcy -- and guess what, that means no more government handouts for ANYONE -- AND increase inflation, so the poor will become even poorer when prices double a year from now.

  • So I ask you, who sucks and is dumb? The Governor who has brought new jobs into Louisiana for every month of 2008 except for September (as a result of Gustav and Ike)? The Governor who has dropped LA's unemployment rate to 5.3%, while it has risen to 6.7% nationally?

  • I have news for you.

Did you know that the entire country is in a recession and that in every state, people are becoming unemployed?

Except for one state. Guess which state was the ONLY state out of the 50 states to ADD jobs in December 2008? It added 3,000 new jobs.

  • Jindal is DUMB + REPUBLICAN = reDUMBplican

Bobby "Piyush" Jindal speech after Obama's speech was weak, unclear and lame! I feel sorry for the people of Louisiana! They should be fucking protesting in the streets! Residents of New Orleans should be outraged by this son of a bitch, especially black people from New Orleans! Hurricane Katrina victims should be fucking pissed off! Jindal is denying people by turning down the stimulus package. How the hell did this SADIST get elected?

  • How many people did you see stranded on rooftops after the hurricane passed?

How many PETS were lost, for God's sake, versus Katrina?

Shame on Governor Blanco, and even greater shame on MSM exploiting and using the tragedy to promote Bush hatred.

Your media is corrupt to the core, and so is your party.

  • Same population. How many people were left to rot in the Superdome, getting mugged and raped, in total lawlessness, during Gustav?

    Zero, my friend, zero.

    That is the point.

  • No comparison? Did you see looting post-Gustav? Did you hear of people left to die in old folks homes? Did you hear about medical staff euthanizing patients who couldn't be evacuated?

Yes, it was a smaller hurricane, but you're missing the point.

Nobody, nobody was around when it hit land. Unlike in Katrina. THAT is the point.

  • Hurricane Gustav Damages: $8.5 billion (2008 USD)

Hurricane Katrina Damages: $89.6 billion (2009 USD)

    There is no comparison here.
