I was at dance pictures and my friends mom was giving them away because the mother abonded them and it was just so quick and I was giving them to my grandmother anyway because she has outdoor cats for like hunting and such and I have like 4 other cats and the vet was not an option. But thats okay cause I have a new batch of kitties :)

We had to feed them several times a day and at night too (with some home made formula), we had to rub their belly with a warm wet piece of cotton so they could pee and poop, we had to put a bottle with hot water so they would have something round and warm (an improvised fake cat mom) and the rubber hot water botlle in their bed, and obviously replace the water every few hours. Hard work of course, but beauiful indeed. I was the happiest and proudest mommy in the world

@susantash The 2 little girls are now 8 months old....We decided to keep them...I wish we had stayed the course when we were feeding all 4..We actually got bad advice from a vet and that is why 2 died....They have had many infections being outdoor cats, so they have had several rounds of medication..Eye infections have been a big problem..Potty training was simple...They both went from milk to a solid food fairly easy..Do some research on how to go from milk to solids...A bit tricky..

u dont. they just gotta be hungry. im currently hand-raising a baby kitten and she eats like that right after she wakes up and is really hungry then she won't suck like that, but i'm careful not to overfeed her. i just feed her until her tummy gets round ad she doesn't want anymore.

I know what you're talking about. Like I said on a related video, I had to bottle feed a little kitten (like this) who got her neck torn and had stitches. It was amazing that the vet could do it. We had to keep her away from her momy because she wouldve pulled them out.

I'm pretty sure it's not a bad thing if they don't wiggle. As long as you're feeding her on her belly (not on her back!), and she's excited about it, she's probably fine. :)

Do not do this. Whole milk does not provide the proper nutrients a growing kitten needs to long term health. There are several recipes to be found with a quick internet search(google....), but it would be best to buy the formula.
He was just very young and born outside to a wild mother. With a little good food and care his fur grew in nicely. He's now a sleek, handsome smoke gray cat.
Don't give them cow's milk! It might make them sick and lead to dehydration. KMR is a feline milk replacement you can buy as a powder or liquid at your local pet or feed store. It's pretty cheap, and they even sell kits with a bottle in some places.
i love kittens but i dun like to feed them, mine are 1 month old by now and the mother ran of somewhere, they just wont sit still while i try feeding them and they scratch my hands to bits with their pointy little claws O_o
but its worth it when u see those cute little faces ^^
good job! he is such a darling. just a tip for later: try feeding them when they and their heads are flat to the ground or close to it. it makes it harder for fluid to get into their lungs, which is obviously pretty bad. bless you and hoping for healthy kittens!

If you lay the on their backs to eat they're more likely to get milk into their lungs. They can choke or end up with pneumonia :(

good job! he is such a darling. just a tip for later: try feeding them when they and their heads are flat to the ground or close to it. it makes it harder for fluid to get into their lungs, which is obviously pretty bad. bless you and hoping for healthy kittens!
