Emergency wards are the most expensive form of h.c. delivery & even then are not in the business of early diagnosis or preventative care.

How about each state takes care of their own health care problems! This country is individual states for a reason! Let's keep it that way!

The states have attempted to deal with such matters as extending more affordable h.c. coverage for those with preexisting conditions & other state goals.

The result is State insurance mandates & regulations that are one barrier to cross-state competition.

In any case a hodge podge of State by State regulations & other measures is not the way to address the nation wide problems with rising h.c. costs, the rising number of uninsured & under insured, & the insurance company abuses.
