I've offered free beautiful housing w/ all heat and utilites paid for any volunteers willing to help out with 15 to 25 hours a week. on homeless websites and the only responses I got were whining and complaining like I was taking advantage of the homeless. My whole point in needing volunteers was to help set up gardens and shelters to HELP the homeless but they treated me like I was some jerk exploiting them. It was pretty sad cuz when I heard about the tent cities, all I wanted to do was help.

After a women I met told me about the tent cities, I felt terrible for these people, and asked my husband what we could do to help them. He talked to some homeless shelters who told him to be sure to require some sort of volunteer work or else he would attract the chronically homeless who just lived off the good graces of others. He found websites that provided housing for volunteers that came to work on their farms for 25 hours and said we could do the same thing, but only a few responded.

i'll end with this, if you dont want to be a servant to this fucking economy or the government and get taxed to death in the process, then pursue a cash business. learn a trade that everyone can benefit from and are too lazy to do themselves. trust theres plenty of them, many of which if done correctly, will ensure you stay on top, make some good investments, have nest-eggs, and dont overspend, and you will be way ahead of everyone else who sits around feeling sorry for themselves. simple truth.

I say this....as long as people buy into all of this crap, and listen to every goddamn thing they watch on the news, and try to live above and beyond their means, and get caught with their dick in the wind when their jobs dry up because nobody is building or wanting to take loans to buy cars they cant afford. you get what you got coming. if you live in a tent, and refuse to take work, thats your goddamn fault. and my blessing to me and my family. i call bullshit, theres a shitload of work everywhere, things are getting expensive, so what do you do? you budget, you learn how to live within your means. the construction industry isnt worth shit, and nobody is in a rush to buy a car right now, use your brain and go where the money is. you dont have to live in a damn tent or buy into the hopelessness. theres alot of shit out here you could still do to make a decent living and educate yourself in the process. america is just fucking lazy.

This started during the Carter administration when the democrats passed the American Reinvestment Act that didn't get started until Clinton and Barney Frank took over Fannie Mae and Freddy Mac. Almost forcing banks to give home loans to minorities and to people otherwise who would NEVER have gotten one. Instead of realizing their mistakes, they continued the practice and sold that debt to other mortgage buyers under the the guise that it was "good" debt.

There is nothing in the reinvestment act to give a welfare loan(a loan to people who cant pay it aka sub prime).Sub prime loans and interest only loans were based only on the teaser rates when a person applied for a mortgage.Most banks took your total income and maximum interest rates to see if you qualify.
