  • super

  • 1:30 is good headbanging.

  • Nightwish is sooooooooo , 2010

  • @hackedmind That's what I was looking for. Figured that I had heard the tune somewhere else, but didn't know what the original was called.

  • @sphynxsoft propably orginl Nightwish :) they are very similliar:)

  • @Zurimbarai No, meant the similitude with Fischia il Vento. I knew the tune was taken from somewhere, but didn't know where from, as @QwertyTSecond spotted. Couldn't mistake Lunatica with Nightwish or other way around, as I know both bands quite well :)

  • @hackedmind Ooh, well spotted. I've never heard of that one before. The metal take doesn't really keep much of the original folk sound.

  • awesome!!!

  • Echt nice Song

  • If someone says : ,, no offense ,, , they usually do just that . ?

  • osam osoba nevoli ovu pjesmu i na kurcu ih nosam :]

  • @dethara666

    Carina. XDDDD

    I loove this song. :P <3333

  • nice

  • 1:30 is great headbanging. Very underrated band

  • Parts of the song resemble Elements, which is my favorite Lunatica song

  • 449 ppl know the tru meaning of life and metal bands

while 8 ppl are lovers of ppl with no sense in life....example:Justin Bieber....

    Thumbs up if u agree!

  • 4:16 fackin WOW

  • @QwertyTSecond: I wouldn't call it cheesy talk; they have several centuries of history and all the epic tales that we don't come close to having, so it's no surprise you can picture all that while listening to them.

    So do I.

  • its old russian song named "katyusha"

  • Comment removed

  • I don't like this, there's so many bands like this... and the voice is a one more...

  • @Bestella30 can you tell me what bands you mean, i would like to know more bands like this.

  • @firestormstar kamelot,dark moor,almora,battlelore,epica,epica,angelzoom,nemesea

  • @aiearasis thx darkmor sounds good.

PS: you mentioned epica twice ;-)

  • @aiearasis thx sounds good.

    PS: you've mentioned Epica twice;-)

  • @firestormstar epica are so epic they need to be written twice ^^

  • @Bestella30 -not sure..!!

  • What country are they from?

  • @MySoulDecays Schweiz ! also Austria !

  • I think ill go live in europe just for all the metal bands that ill be able to watch live everywhere around me!!!!

  • this song reminds me of casatschok xD

    i love it though...

  • another obscure, amazing band

  • amazing song .the bstone of this band .

  • there are a few north american metal bands that are good but this really isnt all that good 3 inches of blood is way better but i do require something a bit faster

  • it's an awesome song . i lke everything about it.beautiful lyrics + amazing melody and wonderful rythme .

  • Lunatica para mi es mejor que Nightwish..

  • there is not that many good metal bands in the U.S. because the c-RAP is most popular around here. I guess most Americans prefer the sound of that over something with rhythm, poetry, and most importantly, beautiful voices.

    so :P

  • gothic metal is the best :)

  • good song liked it :D

  • this song sounds ....mistic...epic..........and is a cute voice......

...one of the best themes of "fables & dreams"

  • this song. . .elements from "katyusha"

  • yea it's chick-metal !!! cool :)~

  • great song! ^^ what album is this song from? anyone know? thanks for uploading!

  • Its like Metal for girls.

  • I like the song to but I honestly fell it is more theatrical than actual metal. you know. I dont take anything away from it though it is an excellent song.

  • @eXtremeBaum

and for calm dudes who like a melody you can actually hum..... but your right, it's imasculating and mostly for girls.

  • @robertinrinrin you know its only imasculating if you think it is... i think this kind of music can be enjoyed by both genders.... like techno it sets a mood rather than anything else

  • so true

  • @robertinrinrin imasculating..? OLOL

  • This is the second song I hear from them... The first one was Who You Are, and I didn't really like it xD But this... is just awesome *o* Loved it ^^

  • There is the sound of the Russian traditional song Katyusa sometimes 2.15-2.45 for example...But very good song!

  • I love the ending of the song ^^

  • Such a great great band!...hadn't heard before...but they're amazing!! Indredible song! Love it..!

  • WOW...I just discovered this great band, this is the second song I hear from them and they are awsome... I love it

  • @headalphafemale

    everyones a critic...

  • why are all the GOOD metal bands all they way across the Atlantic Ocean. Most of the U.S. metal bands just scream their hearts out or says how much life sucks. European bands actually have meaning

  • God, I know! Ours have an embarrassing lack of depth lol

  • and THAT is why i ceased to listen to all American music except Kamelot long long ago.

    you are spot on

  • Wait but isn't Kamelot for Norway?

  • no just their lead signer, Khan is from Norway. The band started in Florida

  • I don't understand why people give up American metal so easily, sure alot of it is indeed mainstream shit. But have you ever heard of Agalloch, cynic. There's plenty of other underground bands with European sound.

  • i love music from all over the world the reason y most people give up American metal is because the European metal and techno and most music from europe sounds a thousand times better lol well that is just my opinion and im from new zealand i agree i love my lamb of god and stuff but i know literally hundreds of European bands like this there are prob thousands i cant stop listening to them lol

  • Thats exactly the way I feel!

  • @bahamut6667

you have a point. rammstein is a good example ^.^

im american, ill listen to most any music, unless its a scambled mess of instruments and random, impossible to understand screaming

  • I'm from the U.S. myself and pretty much all the bands i listen to are European. i'm not sure why that is, but thats what i like and i haven't really found many good bands of this genre in the U.S. so i don't really try because i know that there won't be anything as good

  • I think it's a cultural thing. To my mind, European metal in all its forms represents the landscape of Nordic civilisations, from the Black forest to the Fjords, and the folktales which accompany them.

When listening to this sort of music, I'm always able to picture their world, the battle hardened warriors facing off against monsters, kingdoms rising and falling, and all the epic tales of that world.

Okay, enough cheesy talk from me.

  • @QwertyTSecond

If we look from a historical standpoint...the Nordic people did some voyaging at the time of the viking invasions of central and west Europe. They also did mercenary work in eastern Europe in their late era. Northern Europe wasn't that rich in resources and loot at that time, so they traveled a lot.

Remains of viking presence was also found as far as Ukraine.

  • @QwertyTSecond this is why I only buy European metal... US Metal SUCKS

  • @sslitherr Yes it sucks!! HAIL to all european metal bands!!!

  • Comment removed

  • @QwertyTSecond ... I couldn't have put it better m'self. Totally agree :)

  • @QwertyTSecond i just want to fuck that bitch that sings this song and hear her yell

  • @JustBored589 What about Kamelot! They RULE mate :-)

  • @TrueWodzu

    Kamelot's members are most European

  • @overloadgr

"Kamelot was founded in Florida by Thomas Youngblood and Richard Warner in 1991.." that is an american band.

  • @TrueWodzu

i agree. but now 2 members of them are Europeans.

  • @JustBored589 Ha cause u.s lost its talent in music about early to mid 90s haha hail european metal!

  • ghehe.. happely living in the netherlands ^.^

  • That's not just an European band, it's a SWISS band ! ;)

  • @lovefordante

    fact!!

  • @lovefordante Kamelot and Dream Theatre are both good :-). I guess European music has a lot of history and a lot of symphonic metal bands use a lot of scales and tonality from medieval and renaissance music. However, I'm still waiting for a native-American style metal band (I like native American music), so it's not as if the USA hasn't got the musical history, just hasn't really utilised it yet...

  • @GeologyRocks101 U might enjoy listening to Creek Mary's Blood by Nightwish my friend

  • @lovefordante I love living in Europe x]

  • @lovefordante I do not agree with this.

  • @lovefordante I hate that too.... :(

  • @lovefordante

There are some good US Metal bands (Iced Earth, Queensrÿche, Symphony X, Dream Theater, Fates Warning, Nevermore and others). It is just that the pop music ends up getting promoted more.

  • @lovefordante I completely agree wit you on that, I've found that most of the good bands are either Finnish or Swedish.

  • @lovefordante

There's plenty of GOOD metal bands in the U.S., they just do not get radio play because their style is no longer popular like it once was. They do not get radio play or promoted anymore - and the reason for this is - the pop and fucking rap crap has taken over. It's all about the monies, to hell with any talent.

  • @dreamzwalker Yeah, like In Tenebris. They're a dark-wave band of some sort and were rather badly distributed by their record company. The sorrow of it is that they're one of the more meaningful bands and that they were screwed over by American Society. I swear, they could've had better luck in Europe..

  • @dreamzwalker I know. There are plenty of good american metal acts. Problem is Metal is not very popular here as opposed to europe, where its much more popular. In the U.S its all about Justin Bieber and all that crap. Why Do you think there are not very many metal bands every touring the U.S? because there is no money here. Only top metal acts ever come to the U.S. and then they only play in small venue places that only hold 300 people

  • @destroyer8604

yeah, it's depressing. Corporate America has basically killed all genuine talent and creativity in the art of music for americans. If it doesn't sound like everything else, its not worth it. I know what you mean- i've seen bands that overseas draw thousands of people get stuck in venues like that. No wonder they do not want to play here.

  • all they want is gaga and beaver clones... so pitiful

  • @lovefordante kamelot

  • @lovefordante ---another good group(England) is Crimson Tears-' the dark awakening '

  • @lovefordante i dont want to be offensive against Americans, but i think its that they lack that mythical edge in their history. the likes of european countries and the UK have so much imaginative Mythical stories and folklore, many power metal bands base they're music arouns such stories and the likes of Kamelot tend to concentrate on famoues Kings and Queens of England.

  • Pumptris Quattro

  • PUMP IT PRO ASUHuahShuahausauauhs

  • better than Epica? sorry, but i wouldn't say so.

I'll say that band is better than Epica if they make better LIVE album than Classical Conspiracy

point is to sound good live, and Epica showed that they can do it. Some songs sound better live than on album.

but this band is really good and i like them too!

  • wow ... this song is awesome!!! +5

    =D

  • Love this band thru n thru. They make such good n passionate music, i really hope they make it big !!

  • I think that this band is underrated. They're way better than Epica IMO.

  • They're not better than Epica...Epica is way better...but this band and specially this song are pretty great

  • Epica are good but overrated.

  • your wrong .... Epica is an epic band

  • epic music

  • I am on the hunt for some good stuff. I like this much better then a lot of other bands in the same genre.

    pretty freakin sweet.

  • this song is very good It does sound sorta of like night wish

  • A lot of symphonic/opera metal bands sound similar. It's just the style. Like I think they sound like Sirenia and Within Temptation.

  • i can really hear the Sirenia sound

  • nice song because swiss !

  • the starting part is somekinda of a trance or techno..but overall nice song

  • This is very Nightwish-esk. I like it

  • video game style ! all this

  • ~Positive (Self-Based opinions.)~

It's a great song I have to say. Nice musical play aswell as voice. Synch (betwen song and voice) is mostly on high grade, can lower but is variable.

    ~Negative (Self-Based Opinions)~

After listening to song, I couldn't find much of a negative thought. I have to check the other songs first. This was the first one afterall. Lol. ~EoF~

    4/5

  • Very nice to hear !

  • all lunatica songs are great

  • May i suggest elvenking, lyriel, evig natt, kamelot, sonata arctica, cellador, and blind gaurdian, and also edguy.

  • Elvenking, Kamelot, SA (Sonata), Edguy <3 My favorites.

Lyriel and Blind Guardian never suited me well though O.o
