I do rhythmic and it is heaps good but people say that it is a non hard working sport of corse I disagree because we do everything in this video and it is all hard work
:0 yea if there's people out there that are doing the beware you'll have really bad back and leg problems when u get older, cause your body can no longer hold the stress
are these all at the same location? or are they different? since a kid at 5:06 looks kinda like young me and the place looks like my old training school
if people look at this and go " freaks >.>" then they have obviously forgotten what it is like to have a love of something so strong that you are willing to go through excruciating pain every day of your life until you are perfect; so you are basically willing to devote your life to being and creating art. to me, those naive people who scorn hard workers are cowards, who never gave anything any real commitment.
is it to old to start at 13 because i have just found out about rythmic gymnastics and i am already in love with this sport but iam no really fexibe please respond i wan your opinion xx
@DancerLaurenX98 Thirteen is NOT too old to start, but unless you have 100% focus and determination, you may not get very far. I started regular gymnastics at 13, and now I'm nearly fifteen and I'm doing level four (I know that's not great for a 15yo, but hey, my dream is to do my best!) so if you have the willpower, I say go for it! You don't want to miss any chances! :) xo goodluck!
@HayleyFox97 Well a friend of my sister can do all this and she is amazingly flexible but I don't think she can start RG now.. She's 22 so even though I was trying to encourage her I knew that she wouldn't find anyone to train her..Age is a certain advantage, almost a requirment unfortunately..Probably after the age of 18 it's already too late :((
@DancerLaurenX98 if you work hard enough its never too late. i have a friend who is a professional ballet dancer and he had next to no training (im talking maybe a class a week if that) until he was 16 and hes doing really well.
@smarathy Thank you for that response, it's helped me to understand the sport a lot better :) I'm starting to wish I'd started when I was younger. Are you enjoying it? :)
@Imoliviabrown if you want to be a rhythmic gymnast in russia you have to be naturally flexible but that just makes that best gymnasts come in russia! other places you don't have to be naturally flexible, you will come flexible by stretching and small kids are naturally flexible so if you start gymnastics then you will get more flexible than starting stretching at old ages and by old i mean over 10-years-old

Are Rhythmic Gymnast's double jointed/naturally bendy or is it their training that makes them this flexible?
Imoliviabrown 3 months ago
@Imoliviabrown most are very naturaly bendy, it sure helps. but you absolutley need lots of traing to!

Either knee supports because they have injured their knees, knee warmers, or to prevent carpet burn. Not sure which one though:/
