i enjoy how these bands try to be hardcore. Try listening to real metal. Disposable Heroes or Master of Puppets by metallica are two songs that are greater than the entire atreyu album

Well, this song has some potential, but it lacks some soul or feeling, but i ain't completely dissing the song, "The Curse" i think was their best album, and their new stuff is ok, but i prefer "The Curse".
Atreyu's new album is not some shitty joke record i been listening to it for a solid 3 mths straight and i as a true fan enjoy every track as i did on lead sails paper anchor and the previous 3 albums every band progresses musically and i agree with xd4v1dx93 lol nice name anyways long live the best band ever ATREYU!
I think they should have rerecorded the whole album with a better quality. The guitars lack the power they have on the other albums...if the whole CD was rerecorded without rewriting the songs, it would make this album soooooooo much better and so top notch. The songs are awesome...just need better production and better sound quality.

Well, this song has some potential, but it lacks some soul or feeling, but i ain't completely dissing the song, "The Curse" i think was their best album, and their new stuff is ok, but i prefer "The Curse".

Atreyu's new album is not some shitty joke record i been listening to it for a solid 3 mths straight and i as a true fan enjoy every track as i did on lead sails paper anchor and the previous 3 albums every band progresses musically and i agree with xd4v1dx93 lol nice name anyways long live the best band ever ATREYU!

I think they should have rerecorded the whole album with a better quality. The guitars lack the power they have on the other albums...if the whole CD was rerecorded without rewriting the songs, it would make this album soooooooo much better and so top notch. The songs are awesome...just need better production and better sound quality.

@christophemillertime it's supposed to sound like low quality? don't get me wrong...nothing against the songs itself...just that the quality needed to be better. doesn't matter if the songs are written epicly...if the sound sucks, it's not gonna be good. this could've been such a better album if the production was better

I disagree, the album sounds pretty good all around, the guitars sound very good on this album. i cant think of any album where the guitar sounds better.
i would however want them to rerecord visions, that would be awesome :)

I dunno', I kind of disagree with a lot of people saying that Atreyu's old stuff was better. I like it, but I think their new stuff is way more developed musically, to be honest.

They aren't going to write an album like this ever again, that young rage isn't there anymore, and they're all much happier now. You can't be mad that they're growing up.

I still feel so much lighter when I hear Ain't Love Grand...

@trowabarton101 In the same respect, the amount of people that now dislike Atreyu because of there new stuff may be a large amount. But a whole lot more people are liking them because they're not as Screamo as they once where. Personally I do like there older stuff a bit more, but I still like there new stuff :)

@IsMyNameCoolEnough haha i agree the rage isnt there anymore, but i think alex is a talented enough writer that he could write something similar...
the fact is atreyu never set out to be/stay 'hardcore' forever, so i definitely agree with you that atreyu will never write something like this EVER. but everything just seems to pale in comparison to this so IMO this is their most classic album....they wouldnt have made it had this album not come into existence (either that or the curse)

I've been fed classic rock & roll for most of my life and about a year ago I started getting into bands like this and Avenged Sevenfold. A lot of people say this stuff is better thatn there newer, all I hve to say is that they're an amazing band and i'll stick with them no matter what their decsion is

yeahh, lead sails was absolute shit compared to their other stuff. a few good tracks, (blow, doomsday, the squeeze), the rest was not atreyu. even COTD has some major flaws.
