  • looks like the guy that drank Ipecac and threw up all over the sidewalk! LMAO

  • 12 Mega RAMS???

  • MY EARS

  • Yep, thats my £300 speakers fucked now!

  • My PC has more power than those two computers combined. LOL!

  • @dejavuman22 Must have been expensive

  • @dejavuman22 So does mine. How did I do this? By being born half a century after these guys. Just like you.

  • My left ear is lonely.

  • i lost my hearing but it was worth it.. ps use 240p if all you hear is weird glitchy noise.

  • 100MB of hard drive space, and 12MB of RAM? :(

  • i dont have my ears any more

  • Oh crap. Where am I going to get two computers?

  • Just blew out my right speaker...

  • The funny thing is, today you can do that for free if you have some technical knowhow and a laptop (hacking signs is easy as pie)

  • that is where the rule never do the same trick twice comes in lol

  • Comment removed

  • Hmmm. Lucky their names were so short otherwise there wouldn't have been room on the screen.

  • You recorded this on a potato?

  • @myrtlebox HURR DURR FUCKING ORIGINAL

  • Omg 100 mb harddrives?! that must be expensive at that time.. LOL :P

  • Penn's like HURRY THE FUCK UP YOU DUMB BROAD!!! Hahaha

  • MOFO ELECTRONICS= WIN

  • pffft

    nice jacket, Joe

  • Excellent sound quality if you don't mind me saying

  • 47 People Use Headphones

  • 12mb of ram?

    damn that's me out :/

  • R.I.P. All the headphones users.

  • Face @ 3:32 = Priceless

  • And death to my ears.

  • Anyway definitely no force, so almost certainly a tricked deck (dont be fooled by the fact that it was wrapped and they had a few to choose from). Also you never see the penn fan the cards - looks like he switches to a pre-fanned circle of cards, that are probably glued together. Actually thats the hardest part of this trick - making the image of the fanned deck on the TV screen match the one on the fake computer screen.

  • sorry to burst peoples bubble, but there's no way OCR was advanced enough back then for this trick to be possible. And even if it was, the software they used it obviously fake - the type TV shows like CSI use to make it look like a computer is doing something! The computer did NOT find the cards, there's another explaination.

  • Did he say a "perfect fail"?

  • @pyeclam Perfect fan.

  • @pyeclam perfect fan

  • ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh myu earssrss

  • ah hahahaha

  • It's the most expensive because now I have to buy new speakers....

  • mofo electronics lol, like somethign from gta

  • Any non bbc network will do just fine lmao x]

  • how much would that cost these days

  • If he have a look at their slight of hand video, youll get blown away

  • Teller's expression is priceless!

  • Luckily it wasn't Jaqueline and Alexander that were picked, that would have look rubbish lit up.

  • It wasn't widely publicized, but Penn and Teller did a card trick for some astronauts. The launch that made this possible costed a couple of billion dollars, so at this point, THAT is now the most expensive card trick.

  • @PrometheusWithLight do you have a link to the video if there is one?

  • @jacktheripperrules

Look for the NASA episode of Penn and Teller: Bullshit!

  • Sounds bad at first, but the quality gets better at around 4:12

  • 100 mb Lol that was a lot back then, my computer has 750 gb

  • 1.21 gigawatts = 12 megs

  • holy fuck dont listen to it it will fuck up your hearing!!

  • @zachaqsw you bet, my left ear exploded!

  • @toquepiano my right ear exploded

  • well i can get the computers...

  • Great clip. Cheers for uploading and sorry to sound an ungrateful cow but if the sound could be cleared that'd be awesome. x

  • @bloodravenuk he won't clear it up after uploading it xD I'm sure it wasn't great quality in the first place, it was a long time ago, but it's worth the static, for the joke.

  • LOL!!! i was cracking up during the whole thing. NICE

  • sometimes i wish i could go back in time with the computer i have now when the games needed like 700mhz processor speed and be a smartass and say ''pff, i have a 2.4Ghz quad core'' :P

  • i wish my computer had 12megs of ram :( what a hi tech beast

  • wtf my ears are fucked!

  • 12 megs of ram. shit. this trick is restricted only to the privileged :(

  • lmao "mofo electronics"

  • Drop the quality to 240p and voila, sounds ok.

  • @Lethanian Ah, genius! Thank you. :D

  • @Lethanian ur right

  • @Lethanian wish i read that before i watched the video

  • @Lethanian Thank god for you sir.

  • @Lethanian still the same shit

  • @Lethanian i dont think "ok" is quite the right adjective.

  • @Lethanian You fucking genious :D

  • that isnt her deck he pulled it out of his pocket

  • This was the best trick ever. This video made my hearing disappear!

  • OMFG I'M GOING TO BE HEARING THIS FOR THE NEXT WEEK, I WISH I HAD SPEAKERS AND NOT HEADPHONES ARRGHGHGHGHHGHG!!!!

  • HEADPHONES AH PHUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

  • @mikedd56: except that Teller most likely did not "scan" the deck with a computer. He had plently of time to scan the deck himself (quickly locating each card in a suit sequence until he hit the missing one) and then entering the card info into the "scanning" computer and the tele-screen. It was their standard "trick within a trick".

  • Jea my ear is pregnant with noise

  • OMG 100MB!!! what will i do!

  • ow my ear

  • 3:25 MOFO electronics? thats badass xD

  • how the hell did they get bicycle cards in london

  • Listen, the time of the dj scratch is dead!

  • huh? i didnt get it.

  • @silverhawkroman

How did u not get that she took out a card, gave the deck back to penn, then he flashed the deck to the camera & since he is an expert slight of hand he was able to spread out the entire deck perfectly so all card numbers showed to the camera, then teller used the computer to scan it and see which card was missing, then teller relayed it to appear on the jumbo screen in the backround

  • @mikedd56 now what's so expensive about it?

  • Penn and Teller make me happy. I wanna film them naked while pouring meted card wax over their nipples, LOL!!!!!!!!!!! That's a trick damn I'm good!!

  • Teller is sexy!!!!!!!

  • Nobody has that much ram....

  • penn's huge

  • HOLY SHIT 12 MB of RAM?!?!?!?!

  • lmao "mofo electronics" xD

  • I wish I had 100 mb of hard disk space. I am still using my Commador 64... :(

  • @teamrocketspet Must have taken the last 12 hours to load this video, I sure hope it was worth it. I just cost you 30 minutes wile you read this comment didn't I? Sorry.

  • @teamrocketspet its time to get a new computer dude

  • OWWW MY FREAKING EARS.

You know there are audio editing programs out there that will allow you to normalize the audio and remove the noise and clipping......

  • the audio quality is incredible

  • AAAAAAAAH MY EARS!!!

  • awful audio.

  • mumbble mumbble mumbble.... card trick

  • 100mb! EACH! DAYAMN

  • Totally Great. What year was this?

  • V-3/ A- Terrible

  • The world's most horrible audio.

  • COOL AUDIO BRO

  • do they have a trick to give me my hearing back.

  • holy shit he is tall and I thought the other guy was short O.o

  • @iscay666 You should see them standing next to Regis on the America's got tallent video. They both tower over him.

  • WORST AUDIO EVER!

  • i luv em'

wish i cud attend their live show :(

  • so easy

  • LMAO. Brilliant. I wonder where I can get me some Mofo Electronics.

  • funny thing is we can probably pull off that same trick today for a few hundred to maybe 2000 bucks. granted we may have to slip a bit extra to be able to use that giant screen but still it would be nowhere near 50K pounds

  • Thats great!

  • so lucky sue and ian both have 3 letters. :|

  • it would have been more impressive to the people there if penn had shown the sign to them

  • thank you for using "would have" correctly and not mistaking "of" for "have"

  • this would have been more enjoyable if the sound quality wasn't so SHIT

  • hahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahah way too fucking funny

  • modem? 100MB disk? 12M ram?

    lolol

  • look at pins earrings

  • Penn**

  • can someone get a better quality version of this?

  • guy looks like robert patt.

  • cool ... these guys are GODs !

  • Penn looking at us at 3:32...

    PRICELESS

  • 100 mbs of free disc space lol

  • I recently had less than that on my computer.. I use space easily.

  • It's one i

  • its especially funny because i can do that like 100 times with my computer nowadays

    xD

  • @darris321...you only have a 10GB drive...poor guy :)

    5000x is what a 500GB drive would be...technology is amazing isn't it?

  • hahaha

    it was clearly an underestimation

  • bicycle cards ^^

  • That fan was so cool!

    Teller's so cute!

  • I feel as if you couldn't actually do that trick even if you had 50,000 pounds. The computers he was using just looked too fake. You know what I mean?

  • You're wrong. Detecting which card was missing would be simple.

  • @kittylover132 Yeah, it's almost like they are ancient relics from millennia gone by.

  • That was brilliant.

  • 1.21 GIGAWATTS?!?!?

  • NO :(

1.21 Jiggawatts Without the jiggawatts we'll never go back into time :( gigawatts isn't enough

    HOOPENSTEIN OR GOOPENHEIM?

  • screwed up sound...

  • Are my speakers broken??!?!? god damn!!!!!!!!!!

  • His face at 3:33 - priceless ;D

  • he ain't no sidekick he invents most of the tricks and ideas. They're a team without any one of them being a sidekick.

  • @livedandletdie teamwork makes the dream work

  • @livedandletdie Penn is the consummate showman, and Teller is the genius.

  • EAR RAPE damn.

  • Once you go black, you go deaf

  • @suckithardnfast haha i was like whaat?.. AAH my ears xD

  • @suckithardnfast ay you were asking for it, you had on tight shorts

  • @suckithardnfast hahahahaha

  • first time i bought any descent amount of ram i bough 8 MB and it cost 320 bucks. i had a 420 MB hard drive , it was an ibm 486 slc2. pretty much a 32bit pc with some 16 architecture and a weak math co.

  • and now 8 mb is absolutely nothing.

  • teller does so well not talking. he has great facial expressions

  • a calculator has more ram than that

  • cant do it...dont have that much of ram... :(

  • i dont understand why that would cost £50k?

  • The computer hardware was very expensive in that era.

  • did you know, that every 18 months computers double in speed and half in price

  • Computers are expensive, and hiring the channel that produces the info on the big screen there also is expensive. Oh, and don't forget the pack of cards the women did buy.

  • ha, true

  • 12 mgs ram? what was this? the 80s?

  • 1994 I thing. Or this is aired in 1994 so it might be 1993.

  • He's aged well.

  • audio sucks

  • Redo the audio.

  • I love Penn's smug grin at 3:33

  • I personally think it's hilarious when they reveal their tricks. There's always going to be someone who doesn't know how it works.

  • lmao

  • 12 megs of ram? Thats crazy talk

  • with Memmaker or QEMM!

  • I met penn and teller and they nearly took my head off

  • HAHA! :D

  • LOL XD I had a laugh~ XD

  • @paulspydar: Thanks God someone like you doesn't get what magic is truly about or the art would die.

Magic is not about tricks or gimmicks, it's not even about illusions. It's about entertainment. The connection between the magician and the audience. Nothing more, nothing less.

  • Teller always does the hard work.

  • No kidding.
