Hey, which pickups and wood your Carvin has? I got a Carvin Bolt, but the sound doesn't have that much balls as yours. I've got C22B humbucker with alder body.
did you transcribe this yourself or did you get a tab cuz at the beggining right after the 2 f chords you playd i play that part different so just wonderering cause id like to see the way you play it nicley done though :)
i like it i wish i could play in general i start to play and all of the sudden its like it drops off the end of the earth and smashes into a million peices but i think you are goos nice job
Lynch is a pal, as are Duff & Dave of Velvet Revolver, Frank Marino, Reeves Gabrels, and by the way, great guitars can be made from many different types of wood. I worked in L.A. in the Music Instrument Industry for a long time, so knowing great players like George is pretty commonplace. If you live in L.A, it's quite often to see celebrities at the gas station, the grocery store, etc. Have a nice day and don't hijack this thread.
neck and body are both maple. it's a pretty heavy guitar, but when I ordered it I was going for a George Lynch kind of thing. Turned out perfect. It just has a great 80's guitar sound to it, especially when run through my live rig.
I see you're a big Carvin fan and so am I. I've got a Carvin LB20, and I'm working on buying a Bolt plus. I was wondering if you've ever tried the V3 though. I'm really looking into it as an alternative to the Mesa and Engl..what do you think?
Thanks for letting me know that open chords ring out better, I wasn't aware that they did. :-) If you have a version you've done I'd love to hear it. I really dig hearing other peoples interpretations of songs. Forward it to me so I can check it out. Thanks man!!
just my line 6 spider practice amp. like most, if not all, solid state amps, great for practice, not so great for rehearsal, live, studio, or anywhere else in the world. lol
oh, now I see what you were thinking because my carvin amp is in the background. it's a bel-air. great for vintage stuff, especially the clean sound. it can really do that chimey fender thing. not too good for heavy rock though.
what tuening is this in mate :]
