Wonderful video of Bobby signing his biggest hits live from 1962. What a great time it was for AM pop radio. Beats the shit out of the garbage we have today. I believe thats the great Darlene Love singing behind Bobby towards the end of "Roses are Red"..
Estimated friend, if you want to listen again this song and an endless number of successes of the love I suggest you to visit Radio MUSICA PARA MIMOS - looks for his direction URL in Google ( search Musica para Mimos in Google)-. best romantic music of all the times in Internet, is great, is very good ...!!!
what does it matter if your 15 or 50? music has no control over your body, but it's simply just what you like as a person. i adore this music, and I'm also 15.. |:
attn: anyone who thinks "all music today is garbage," grow up. there always has been and always will be bad music around. the radio isn't the extent of everything being produced. if you can't find something contemporary to like somewhere, it's not because it's all garbage, but because you're too set in your narrow-minded idea of "what real music is."
Watch for Bobby Vinton as I will record him live when he comes back to his hometown of Canonsburg Pa to be Grand marshall in our huge Fourth of July parade!
I really don't understand why great music like this is dying out. I'm 15 and friggen love this. It's so great, and yet trashier stuff is more popular. I want my crooning boys with sweet intentions!
Why do some morons on here keep saying he wasn't in the Army? Then start naming wars? You can be in the Army during peacetime you fucking idiotic morons. how are you not embarrassed? Are you actually PROUD of being retarded?
@fullflop: He said while serving in the Army. Nobody mentioned war or Vietnam. Plus not all active duty army guys back then were sent to Nam, which was just starting as a conflict back then in 64.
in your intro you say co rite this song when he was in army ,,, yer right Born: April 16, 1935 so what war .. was that then .. vet nam he was to old ww2 to young
Bobby Vinton is my favorite male vocalist of all time. My dad was a young songwriter in the 1960s and met Bobby in person. Bobby introduced my dad to the people at EPIC Records and BMI. My dad was very thankful for Bobby's kindness, he is a true gentleman. I have collected every one of his LPs and 45s and I play them all the time.
Bobby had an excellent voice. My dad was a songwriter in NYC in the 1960s and met Bobby a few times. I still have the original Epic LPs that he autographed for my family in 1964.
Todays, "Music" is not what I would call, "Music". I hate, Rap, and Hip Hop because they are electronicly enhanced. Which doesn't exactly say, "Music" to me.....More like, "Beep Boop Bop". Now I'm only 15, but I've been listening to classical music since I was little. In my newest video, I'm only using Akon's "version" of this song to get more views. But there will never be a replacement for the late, great classics.
@undrgrnd56 You obviously don't know too much about all of hip hop or rap if you think it's all electronic autotune but okay, you go on believing that.
Bobby Vinton and classic songs like this are awesome but lets not paint an entire music genre with such a broad brush.
Bobby Vinton was a great singer. I miss his music.. Even thou i am in my Teens. i dont listen to Modern day music Often. Too bad he shot himself, Out of Depression
You should find more out of things. It's very easy to find out that Del Shannon committed suicide with a gun in February 1990 and Bobby Vinton is still alive. Buddy Holly crashed with a plane.
Bobby Vinton Shot himself, Out of depression of all his songs. Same with another one of the Most greatest Singers Del shannon he die from a plane Crash.
You know what though that is because all the good musicians are all gone and they have to copy what is the bast bevause they suck today:( Akon and the rest of the rap artists should either develop real talent or get a real job...... Rob
Don't be like that...it's a tribute to Bobby and the song.
That guy DID work hard to get where he was, you have no idea how difficult it is to rap. It's essentially writing, poetry. Don't let mainstream rappers ruin the whole genre.
i don't anyone really understands these songs..,the viet nam war was in place... love still had promise...hope and magic.. life is different now...take it from someone who is dying....bobby was great...still is...
@JohnnyLuuVietnam what do you mean, you shouldn't be listening to this? music is music, it doesn't really matter how old you are! I started listening to this music when I was 11, now i'm 18 and still loving it!
