i gotta agree with the other fellas here, you are one hell of guitarist, proving once again that it is not all the electronic gadgets that define talent as a matter of fact i've been looking around and alot of pedals out there that seem to make more in the way of noise than music. when i started playing thirty something years ago, pedals were rare,now those little pests are everwhere. thanks for the beautiful music!
@trebleboostboy Class A topography can be applied in distortion pedal clipping circuitry to achieve a desired overdrive effect with greater dynamics. Do some research and you'll find plenty of references and even white papers that go into great detail.
Class of operation is simply a definition for the number of degrees as a portion of the 360* cycle during which current flows through the Drain of the JFET (or Collector for transistors, Plate for tubes). Class A indicates that current flows for 100% of each cycle, AB is between 100 and 50%, B 50% and so on.
Both of our pedals utilize a class-A JFET amplifier that does an extremely good job of emulating a vacuum tube triode.

well.......now i want to try one.
mainly due to you actually taking the time to respond....which is awesome.
did that TGP tourbox ever happen ??
I'm just tired of hearing "class A" on everything under the electric sun !!!!
hahhahaa....

@trebleboostboy
I'm pretty sick of the "Class A" nomenclature all over everything as well...but in this case, it's a fact.
The tourbox is still making the rounds...lots of people on the list to try it out.
email me to get on the list, or give Stu at Fat Sound a call to purchase.
Cheers!

First! I love the classy look of these pedals. I think I prefer the sound of the Graviton. Vintage hi-fi!
