  • I don't believe you Poppet.

  • The Title is at 4:54

  • Yes, I noticed that. It's a shame that the DVD is of such low quality too. It almost looks as if someone projected a film version on a wall and someone with a crooked tripod shot it on a cheap digital camera phone. Now that it's been released on DVD, I doubt anyone will release a higher quality version since demand has probably been sated with this one. I feel so old watching it now. When I was a kid, it seemed so modern, fresh and vital. Time flies.

  • I thot so too, at like 12 yrs. old!

  • ...And bizarrely, it seems that the distorted sound in the opening couple of minutes must be on the master copy as EVERY version I've seen (including 2 x DVD editions) suffers from the same problem. Thankfully, the sound corrects itself by the time the opening credits arrive! :-)

  • The NEW was the best, and the introduction of the beautiful and inimitable Purdey and indeed Gambit made it something so special to surpass the original quite comfortably in my view. TNA is KING (and QUEEN and KNAVE)!!

  • goodsoninc, I agree the show changed, but they shouldn't be compared with each other. If you compare them, the New Avengers seems to come up short. But taken at face value, it is a fabulous show. Just because the original was that-original and great, doesn't mean that the New version wasn't a splendid show. Would you agree?

  • Without the beautiful and superb Diana Rigg as Emma Peel this show lost most of his charme and coolness
