so, each console is running a virtual version of these games loaded from the server? can each console connect to players on the internet or is only lanplay available? can players save their progress for single player games? also, what are the specs of each machine? ie: ram, cpu and security (to prevent component stealing)?

if u plug vga high end for ex gts 450 , game running nicely for grafik or same ? compare vga on board 8300? 8300 no recomment for game like left 4 dead for example

@313hummer yes i was in an hotel in greece and there was like 4 computers full of games in them like, cs quake need for speed, battlefield harry potter , rayman and all sort of games. had really good graphics (radeon hd) without any lag

Looks really nice. What happens if two users run the same game, is the game state data saved on the client in ram? (like read only - nfs, write to ramdisk?) Or are games just okay being run multiple times?:)

No, it is not LTSP. It's a Gentoo Linux !

Server hardware is a ussual desktop PC.

I did that thing for my college, diskless computers with 128 MB Ram and a few Ghz, sure, I didn't set up to use the RAM from the week computers, all of them were using the server's RAM. If someone was opening a lot of tabs in a browser others were not able to use the RAM(if the server had low RAM) but there were no other option cause the computers were week. So, actually,it's LTSP,and the distro Gentoo suports it,as any other Linux distro

It's NetAdmin. Very lame commercial software for linux. Nothing to record.

CCL (cafe con leche) is more preferable.

All games are stored on server. Games directory is  mounted using NFS (network file system... it is not 'need for speed')

Я не знаю даже способ как заставить кс глючить в вайне. Если ничего не делать и просто запустить wine hl.exe -game cstrike ничего не глючит. Что то надо сделать намеряно чтоб глючило!
