  • no, of course not, these are just the splits after i am warmed up for about 40 minutes with a lot of exercises and after having done a lot of individual muscle stretching. There are many of them that I do, but it is really hard to describe here in words...

  • Yes but it took me 2 years. My advice is: get a very good coach/trainer for strength and stretching because that's what I did. But, despite my flexibility my spirals suck on the ice so, working on the spirals is a different story than doing the splits...

    I'm jelaous of your splits, too;-)After almost a year of stretching(end of January 09 will be a full year)I can almost do my left splits.I've problem though and you might be able to help me:I have x-legs and therefore I can sit on my left split without my right thigh touching the floor.I can't straighten the back leg because it has a'natural'bend.Moreover my hips aren't flexible enough.I'll probably do some stretching tonight so I might post a vid for you to see what I mean

  • nothing happened, I meant the whole process. Maybe I should have written "I have paid" instead of "I paid"...The prices are, mentally: all the worries, expectations and stress, physically: injuries, pain, aches...I had to pay (and still do) these heavy prices to achieve good results...Still have a long way to go...

  • Thanks, for me nothing's wrong with the colors.i love my tights and striped sweater. i just wish i had purple or pink legwarmers, my favourite colors :)

  • You are to be commended for starting such a difficult undertaking at the age of 26. Doing a full split is very hard to do at any age, and to keep practicing for two years is praisworthy indeed. Keep it up.

  • thank you and i agree with you about the clothing. I wasnt aware it looked so nice until i watched the video :)yes i love the striped stuff and i think if the leg warmers were purple or pink (my favourite colors) it'd look even better :D
