Danzig can smell bullshit a mile away. Ever notice when he has a down to earth interviewer he is cool, relaxed, and has fun. But when he gets interviewed by a douchbag like this guy he clams up. I would imagine being a celebrity performer having to go to hundreds of interviews all the time that sometimes you just don't feel like kissing their ass and walking in line for them. Obviously Glenn didn't feel like being there, and this idiot reporter was making it worse.

no its because i've seen numerous interviews where Danzig brings up Henry Rollins, and I've never heard Henry talk about Danzig...he does talk about Ian Mackaye, DOA, and the Circle Jerks, but i just don't think that Danzig is Henry's best friend

So he's been Metal for about 5 years now. That shit attitude probably carries over in other areas of his career and is probably why he plays way smaller venues. Danzig is antisocial. It's his defining quality. I love his music nonetheless. I think most of the things we love originate with some jerk who did things his own way.
If John Lennon were alive and all four members of the Beatles were to have gotten together for a reunion show at that festival, Danzig would have probably pissed on them too. Instead of acting like a pretentious douche rocket he should use an interview as an opportunity to introduce himself to potential new fans. It's like he's trying to keep up a tough guy image . He doesn't impress level headed fans. He impresses the same blind fan boys/girls who would egg him on in a fight with a corn fed moose backstage in Tuba City,AZ. His music is alright but I swear to God that man is his worst enemy with his over the top act.

Everyone's realities and tastes are different. If he appears to rude, it's only in response to this arrogant interviewer. I've seen plenty of interviews where Glenn was cool and positive. It's all in how you are treated and he could smell "bullshit" on this interviewer :)
