Great job! I'm breaking my head over this for a day now! I'm a C programmer. Do you think your program will give me some inside in how to tackle this problem?
I was trying to use a wireless PS2 controller for a robot and even though I was able to make a wired controller to work I couldn't make it with the wireless one... so I'm thinking in moving to use something like you did. Can you explain briefly your program? I do know about electronics and programming but I'm not that good with PICs. Thanks.

yes, and I actually built a 'robot' doing exactly this, with 2 channels.

none needed,
as it is quite simple.
PIC's GND to RC GND.
one PIC I/O to the RC's SIGNAL. (on that specific channel).
