  • Made me augh when the mouth was like "SARAH!"...and she jogged her eyebrow line

  • I loved this. It has a feeling like Eraserhead, and the surroundings like Tim Burton. This is beautifully amazing. :)

  • @CamelianSandstorm I was thinking Tim Burton when I was watching this! Cool

  • i like bloody chicken

  • This is incredible! I love the concept.

Btw: we share the same last name.

  • I really like how you made the nature of how the puppet's face actually animates a plot point. This is really neat stuff you have!

  • @literacyscaresme Thank you!

  • Wow, this is amazing !! I love your animations, they are very creative and mysterious .

    Please keep making more (:

  • Beautiful and Creative! I love watching your videos! So simple, yet so deep! Amazing!

  • @plipcandieplip Thank you!

  • I just loved this claymation. You should win a price or something like that. This was the best claymation i ever seen. And i've seen many. I love the gothic style you put into it.

  • @dikaks Thank You Very Much! I have entered this into film festival but it hasn't won any awards. Though I may appreciate hearing how much people love and appreciate my animations more than an award. I'm currently working on longer films. I hope you enjoy them as much as my shorter work. Thank you again for the kind words!

  • @hasaniwalker your welcome. I wanna be just like you. But my clamation are weird. Someday if I put my work in the net. You will be the first persong seeing it :)

  • @dikaks I look forward to seeing your work someday. Animation is always a challenge but it's always worth it. And with every work you do it'll only get better. Keep creating animations and never be afraid to experiment, some times you'll come away with something strange and amazingly wonderful to look at. Those are usually the best ones.

  • @hasaniwalker thanks :)

  • is this a different language if it is tell me what language it is

  • @TheKingCameron Yes, the mouth that is cut speaks German while the other speaks French. It may not be perfect dialect but I tried my best.

  • This is quite the unique and beautiful piece of art that you have created. You have a lovely mind! ^_^

  • @ilikecheetosevenmore Thank you very much for that wonderful compliment! I'm glad you enjoy my work!

  • This is amazing! Good work!

  • @EmoLicious12230 thank you!

  • Cute and disturbing! <3

  • enchanting

  • @effraja thank you

  • Wow this is awesome!!! I am a film student at university and want to make a stop motion just for fun and experience as I would love to work in it. How do you make the figures?? Is it plastercine?? It looks so shiny haha so did you cover it was clear nail varnish or something haha?? Do you know of any books or websites which would give me a start on making the models?? I loved your film though - soooooo cute and also a little funny :D

  • i do figure for stop motion too, but i have got problem with eyes

  • @Annette11155 you can use a large jewelry bead and move it with a poker like Wallace and Gromit. Another method I use is sculpting out the eye, placing vaseline on it, and then sliding a pupil made of paper or clay on it. You'll find that method in a lot of stop-motion as well. I've heard of glass eyes being used such as in Return To Oz but I'm not sure how you would go about doing that. I hope this was helpful.

  • @hasaniwalker thank you so much

  • that figure of sara is perfect!!!

    how did you do it?

  • Love the walls... awesome short-film

  • @GwenSterben thank you, I still use the walls for photographing sculptures now and then.

  • I think the moral is there's always a resolution to your actions. I mean, she got annoyed and snipped the mouth in two. She realized what she did was wrong, and fixed it.

  • Suss. Sorry I can't do umlauts >_<

  • @Darkangelmmortalwin that's okay thank you all the same :D or danke

  • It kinda reminds me of how people put on a face every day and be someone they are not because people will accept them the way they want them. Sure you might know more people, but the real you will make you cry everytime you put that face on.... :p

  • Normally I can figure this stuff out, but I couldn't with this. Is there some type of message or moral to this? It's a great animation, but i was just curious.

  • @BecauseAlexWasBored I've seen and heard many interesting interpretations for this short. As a storyteller I'd rather leave it to the viewer rather than spoil it. I'm glad you like the animation, this one is still important to me.

  • LOVE IT!! its so cute

  • I'd recommend uploading a higher quality version. This is terrific by the way.

  • your very welcome. oh i willl for sure. this video idk theres something about it that really captures the essence of society you know

  • that was just incredible. easily one of my top fav vids on youtube now

  • @satansaudio666 thank you! I hope you keep watching for the others I'll post!

  • I think about this jobs: simply perfectly, nice job!!!!!!

  • Sara, sara, sara, SARA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Ohhh, poor mouth... Great animation though, Sara's really cute.

  • Jeremy. I still remember when you did the raven in highschool. I've shown this to a million of my friends. Gah.

  • You shouldn't have talked, lips, that's what you get!

  • this is sad

  • Comment removed

  • That's amazingly beautiful and quite haunting for a stop motion. I mean, a simple enough idea, but you managed to twist it into something unordinary and unique

  • @MrsLovett112 Why thank you, that's probably the best comment I've recieved for this film. I'm very glad you enjoyed it.

  • Great Set.

  • the blood puking was really random

    but, idont care

    excellant job

  • How did you make Sara? Was she made out of clay and was the clay hardened?

  • @ConsumedByWonder Sara is a very simple puppet. She has an aluminum wire skeleton and her body is foam covered with cloth. her hands are rubber while her head is a bakeable clay. eyebrows and lips were plasticine clay.

  • @hasaniwalker Oh, thats interesting I tried to make a doll kinda of like that style but instead of foam on her body there is bakible clay also like her head but how did you make the rubber hands?

  • @hasaniwalker Oh, thats interesting I tried to make a doll kinda of like that style but instead of foam on her body there is bakible clay also like her head but how did you make the rubber hands?

  • wow this is amazing! good job! (:

  • @mebekaitlyn1 Why thank you! :D

  • I so love this one<3 great job!!

  • Awesome job!!!

  • Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it

  • I LOVED THIS, absolutely WONDERFUL JOB!

  • I love this. Posted it on my blog, I hope you don't mind :]

  • I don't mind! thank you!

  • I love your work, man! I love how bossy the lips are, ha ha. I wish I had your talent. Love and kisses from Akira

(don't be creeped out by that, I love and kiss everybody, ha ha)

  • Lol, I'm not creeped out then.

  • I just found this now. Why not earlier? It's great and I got really shocked when the blood came out her mouth like that. Incidentally, what language do the lips speak? Is it german? Thanks and great work x x x

  • thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed the film. the lips that are snipped speak german while the other speaks french. there were going to be more languages but I didn't want to clutter the scene.

  • woah! I need to check these comments more often, sorry for the late response. the mouth that's cut speaks german while the other mouth speaks french. I actually did the voices so I'm not sure how well my language was, but so far no one's complained :D

  • Oh good! Well, it seemed alright to me. Do you speak much french? I do x x x

  • I don't actually, I only learned the parts needed for the film. I do plan on learning sometime as the films I'm currently working on seem to lean towards more subtitled work. that and I enjoy it.

  • I never could figure out why stuff like this never becomes popular. Instead people like that "Fred" guy become popular on youtube.

  • lol, well hopefully in time more will take notice. I'm glad you enjoy my work.

  • is the moral that you shouldnt hate youreself? or something?

well it was very cute! =]

    i liked it alot

  • lol I like how she walks to her seat without tripping with no eyes in yet. I wish I could choose different colored eyes every day! :)

  • lol! I didn't even think of that!

  • Aww i felt sorry for her when she regreted cutting her lips and i cnt see like a moral meaning behind this (thats probs just me) but sometimes the character alone is good enough. Well done

    xx

  • thank you! There wasn't really a moral behind the film, it's really up to the viewer to find meaning :-)

  • I think i like the idea of the viewer finding the meaning rather than there being an obvious point!

    xx

  • Surrealism has no morality.

  • cute

  • im not sure if i get it.. but it was very good!

  • great great!

  • my goodness thaqt was deep! that reminds me of many times i've experienced the same way. i can sooo relate.

  • You cut youre lips putting youre face on one morning O.O because i really can't find a moral in this help me

  • @no1pictures1please ummm... you have to let a girl get ready at her own pace or she'll cut you

  • cool!

  • just awesome!!!

  • it waz a little off. but good. veryyyy good. i watched it oodles of times.
