@Cgolfsoccerguy WRONG Who do you think is fighting alongside the US in the most dangerous province of Afghanistan Kandahar and even taking command of Kandahar for a period of time. I will say Canada is a small military but due to its size it's a very highly well trained military. Plus JTF2 is the only foreign military unit to work with tier 1 American Spec Ops in Afghanistan so Canada is very much capable with working with the Americans.

@Cgolfsoccerguy in short what che ko was saying is in the 1990s the minister of finance made devastating budget cuts to the military until the year 2000ish when a new minister of finance ( as far as i know) and gen rick hillier made noise and slowly brought the forces gear and equipment and expanded the training ( for canada training comes first then gear. makes our soldiers more reliant on them selves so when good gear quits you still got a damn good soldier)
