This song is great for camping or cottaging, The Extremist is for driving, war for hiking along Lake Superior, Summer Song for pretty much anything, Tears In the Rain/ Why for rainy days, Motorcycle Driver for speeding past Lake Superior, and New Blues for paying speeding tickets!

In this album, Joe showed that he's as good a songwriter as he is as a guitarist. And what a cracking song to begin the album with, which peaked with the unbelieveable Motorcycle Driver. What can I say, total classic, something I'll treasure till the day I die.

A lot of people compare this guy to Vai. Vai might be a slightly better guitarist, but he can't hold a candle to Satch when it comes to writing melodies. Some of his melodies almost make me cry.

@WeslieJJ94 the tuning is a half step lower than the standard tuning, so:

Eb-Ab-Db-Gb-Bb-Eb from low to high

but if you watch satriani playing it live, you'll notice that he's playing it in the standard tuning, so it sounds a half step higher than on the CD. There are also a lot more backing tracks for the standard tuning version than for the CD-version.

@thepissflap i actually thought that too until i decided to tune my guitar down a halfstep (to Eb). the chords work perfectly with the open strings, so i think it's Eb, just like the 2nd song on the album (the extremist).
