Many years ago I saw Johnny Cash in a concert and he sang these songs and I was amazed that he played the harmonica on the song "Orange Blossom Special". He gave a terrific show and also with him and his band were TheCarter Family, June Carter, The Statler Brothers and Carl Perkins. That was a terrific concert I've never forgotten. Thank you for posting this video. 5*****
Johnny and the Three -they were looking good that year.. ..Must have been before 1969, Luther passed away in 1968. RIP Luther- such a great loss. THANKS for this amazing post!! A treasure.
@devilrobbie25 : You are correct of course. I always did get these two confused and I'm still doing it! I liked them both, what a great sound - but Luther Perkins originated the sound, did he not? [Thanks for setting me straight!]
@justmusicandme ....yes luther started the sound but bob wooton also did a good job on it but not nearly as good as luther..boom chicka boom haha no problem

He does the harmonica-special in nearly every show, such a highlight when he gave the two harmonicas to the audience.
