I used to have it on 2003 Chewy Silverado 2500HD , and more than once I had to wait for ice to be thawed before I could access bed of my truck . Beside that , it is very sturdy , long lasting , and paint do not flake out . Just be aware if U live in Canada , or in " snow belt " in USA .
I have one on my truck and really like it!!! Not cheap, but well made. They do have a Manual Release on them if it should not work, you can still manually roll it open. Mine isn't this loud. I like being able to open and close with just a push of a button. I setup to either use the Keyfob, or a switch on the dash. I can Open it and stop it at any point, not just and a few places like other roll up covers. I like the Hard cover better then cheap soft covers. Pricey, but worth it.
