@ps3hard nonono, Henry was already the most promising french talent when he left Monaco for Juventus (already had Wenger teaching him). Gervinho is nobody compared to the young Henry. French league was so much better then (90s). Now it is true that he became world class in Arsenal, but that was a matter of time.

@TKManUTD1989 Course he was, he was one of the calmest strikers one on one, well could score from all angles to be fair - had pace, could pass like a fully qualified barca midfielder - he had everything!
Though i believe the work of Pires and Ljungberg we're heart beats of the midfield there that helped the Arsenal counter attack work so well. For the past year its seemed at times only Fabregas has that pinpoint pass ability, hopefully Wilshere will assist him there if he stays.
