im not trying to be condisending, but i just don't see how these "abstract" ( and i use that term VERY loosely- in fact, not at all- because abstract art by definition is work based on an actuall object, view, still life etc.) ... art could have done well. its i don't know you and for all i know you could be a great artist, but this "paintings" like these are what make the public look at great artists like pollock and stella as untalented lazy ppl its just not fair.
@Backporchart I mean ultimately art is about making you happy and making other people happy, and if this painting makes someone happy, then that's all the talent it needs to be a beautiful work of art. Cool stuff!

not to be a bitch, but wtf. not only was the painting kindergarten level (no offense), but its not even abstract- it was non-objective. abstract is when you actually make a painting that is modeled after someone or somthing... not random splotches on a piece of paper

You apply so much paint to your canvas! How long does it take to dry? - Looks acrylic, so it must dry much quicker than oils, but wow - you must go through a lot!

The bottles look like a paint I use all the time. It is a German paint, called LUKAScryl Studio Acrylics. It is entirely possible the artist emptied the bottles and replace it with their own creation of paint...

I Use water from lakes and rivers in the area. Many landscape paintings of a river uses the river water to make the painting. William Boyer

The bottles look like a paint I use all the time. It is a German paint, called LUKAScryl Studio Acrylics. It is entirely possible the artist emptied the bottles and replace it with their own creation of paint...

acrylic paint doesn't take months to dry...it only takes days or weeks less than a month.... acrylic paint drys fast that oil paint....
