  • This painting made me love blue even more!!!

  • What are u using to make all those lines the same thing you used to spread it with ?

  • @nate18871 Yes I use my fingers or a Toco Bell Spork. William Boyer

  • Holy shit that's A LOT of paint :)

Oh and also algentrix was saying this is a waste of paint. Farbverschwendung

I don't think that it's wasted because it does look pretty cool, but it is definitely a lot. Hope to grow the balls and the cash to be able to try something like that soon, right now I'm a complete jew when it comes to paint :P

  • farbverschwendung....

  • interesting video

  • you know what is also fun to paint with? a rubber pastry brush it makes awesome texture if you dab down... great video!

  • wow, i love it, using a spork is very unique, nice work, very inspiring

  • Love it

  • omg, wasting so much paint... but cool.

  • los hijos de jakson pollock

  • like shaking dandruff from a week old scalp...

  • Haha wow that looks like fun :)

  • @rishellz Thanks for the nice comment. It is fun and rewarding.

  • 3 years later, and it has finally dried =D

  • @3eneboy Thanks yes it takes at least three days to dry. Google me at BackPorchArt

  • still looked cool but red kinda messed it up

  • O, I like it. Fantastic. I try to paint outdoors as much as I can, to inspire and be inspired. Welcome and visit me at my site.

  • im not trying to be condisending, but i just don't see how these "abstract" ( and i use that term VERY loosely- in fact, not at all- because abstract art by definition is work based on an actuall object, view, still life etc.) ... art could have done well. its i don't know you and for all i know you could be a great artist, but this "paintings" like these are what make the public look at great artists like pollock and stella as untalented lazy ppl its just not fair.

  • @kmarty290 Life is not fair, you just have to work at it. LOL

  • @Backporchart I mean ultimately art is about making you happy and making other people happy, and if this painting makes someone happy, then that's all the talent it needs to be a beautiful work of art. Cool stuff!

  • well. if you think it i a cool and profetional work. Man you have to think to doing some other thing, don't waste your time and the time of other people.

  • I'm not saying it doesnt look cool its just not what I would do.

  • @sballplaya1 Thanks, Google me at backporchart and check out some of my other work. I just got back from an art show at Tarpon Springs Florida and did quite well.

  • Where do you find this type of acrylic liquid paint?

  • @SBPStudio I use acrylic paint and thin it with water from natural springs, Wicki Washie Florida

  • not to be a bitch, but wtf. not only was the painting kindergarten level (no offense), but its not even abstract- it was non-objective. abstract is when you actually make a painting that is modeled after someone or somthing... not random splotches on a piece of paper

  • @kmarty290 Too bad you can not see the abstract form of art that is used. I just got back from a fine art show from Tarpon Springs Florida and did quite well.

  • This is demistification of abstract painting

  • @denilsson31 Oh! google me at Backporchart and check out some more of my artwork on Webshots.

  • Its cool, but a waste of a lot of paint.

  • @mavarek666 Paint of time, what is more valuble to you? Three minutes a painting and 16 oz of paint. or a few hours and tow oz of paint. I just got back from Tarpon Springs Florida fine art show and did quite well. William Boyer

  • hmm.. buy spray

  • @easy917 Only with thinned acrylic paint can you get the marble effect and the brights and darks. google me at backporchart and check out some of my work on webshots.

  • Its very creative!! Awesome

  • @pjartmanstudio I just got back from Tarpon Springs Florida fine art show and did very well. goodle me at backporchart and check out some of my other work. William Boyer

  • Oh man!

You apply so much paint to your canvas! How long does it take to dry? - Looks acrylic, so it must dry much quicker than oils, but wow - you must go through a lot!

Right now I'm doing art vids daily to document my journey through art school =) I like your art a lot!!

  • @AcademyArtVenture Dry time is three days LOL

Thanks, Google me at backporchart and check out some of my other work. I just got back from an art show at Tarpon Springs Florida and did quite well.

  • yeah i agree with most ppl on this one. this painter has no imagination he just does things on impulse. he probably doesnt even know what the hell hes doing. hes just doing the same thing a young kid in kindergarden class. this is very weak. i am a painter as well and i agree that it is no good at all. there is no shadow no highlights. no imagination. no concept of abstract art.

  • @ulyssesbarbosa Thanks, Google me at backporchart and check out some of my other work. I just got back from an art show at Tarpon Springs Florida and did quite well.

  • where do you get your paints...you seem not to have worries about the expense of them...do you know of a place that has good deals?

  • The old masters did so much with so little and I do so little with so much. I have a Vdo with 9 samples of me fingerpainting and three classes (excell)

One class tells what paint to use. William Boyer

  • i know im not the maker of this video, but im an art major and go through waaayy too much art supplies. the best place to buy paint is utrecht- what kind do you paint with the most?

  • pour... :-j esti praf baa ...lasa`te :P

  • What?

  • poor* ... what is this ??? yeah...an abstract painting...In my opinion ....is poor :) I am a painter too and I know... :)

I teach this method at Spring Hill Florida. William Boyer

  • @roby4you yeah- wtf- its not even by definition abstact- its non object and drives me nuts when joe shmos friggin put "abstract" in front of their work... as if its an excuse to suck.

  • @roby4you Well You Must Not Really Know What Art Is If You Think This Is Poor

  • sick but i think the red kinda ruined it

  • What kind of brush the artist used here?

  • This form of art is finger painting with acrylic paint. My finger nails are worn down so I used a Toco Bell Spork. A fork/spoon combo. I teach classes in Spring Hill Florida.

    William Boyer

  • Can you tell me the name of these paints...

  • HE HE not really. ask anything else. The paint must be thin enough to pour and run together but not fully mix. William Boyer BackPorchGallery

  • The bottles look like a paint I use all the time. It is a German paint, called LUKAScryl Studio Acrylics. It is entirely possible the artist emptied the bottles and replace it with their own creation of paint...

  • I mix my own paint, thanks
