  • Roger that. HO Tower and FS Tower out.

  • great video conrail6465 check out my channel some time thanks for sharing

  • Sorry Conrail did not merge into EL. EL was around untill 1992! Conrail just bought the assets of EL and other companys they wanted. The rest was returned to the company. Go to Yahoo Finance and under quotes put in the ticker code RDI you will see the READING COMPANY today READING INTERNATIONAL. EL is gone, since 1992, the others merged into NON railroad companys.

  • @industrial What you are referring to is EL Estate that survived after the remainder of EL was bought by the government and combined into Conrail.

  • @intercityrailpal WOWA there foamer. Dam u foamers are mad about what you think ytou know. How come the majority of foamers tresspass, talk smack, think there model RR is catualy real and think every engineer that waves to them likes them and they know them? Lets see try coming froma RR family and train orders or train mag online-foamers with PHD or college degrees actualy ignore ya? Too many foamers think they are high school science club tatle tales

  • @intercityrailpal Sorry but EL merged into the formation of Conrail in 1974 I believe it was, not 1992. EL, PC, and a few others were bankrupt so the government made Consildated Rail Corp aka Conrail.

  • @johnyboy087 OK, I'll send the tax people over to NS, since they did take over Conrail. If Conrail took over EL then they own millions of dollars in back EL taxes. EL went broke not just for lack of business. But high taxes used to build highways that killed their business. It was so bad, miles of right a way, couldn't be sold after the rail was removed by Erie-Lackawanna, Inc. They just left it. You see I kept in touch with the EL after they ran their last trains.

  • @intercityrailpal The property taxes were more than the property was worth. So local governments took the property for back taxes. For a while a short line called Erie Western operated the west end.Their major business was storage of rail equipment like box cars from the bankrupt railroads on the second mainline. Untill they could be cut up, and the tracks removed. The company was owned by Craig Burroughs. A friend of mine knew his son.

  • Sweet memories, thanks.

  • How about Hendrix instead of this refuse? Better yet, Arthur Honnegger.

  • Perfect for the only Northeastern Railroad that actually had a chance at being profitable, not to mention, they didn't mince along at 10 mph *cough*Penn Central*cough*

  • I just learned something new today...that this song was released in Dec. 1975 making it a valid EL song. Great video my good man! I would have used Rush's "Here Again", then again anything Rush prior to 1976 reminds me of the EL.

  • This isn't dirty deeds

  • AC/DC - "Dirty Deeds"!

  • ac dc, TNT

  • this is simply fantastic!
