With the not so good Ford motor, being 100 horsepower down on the Renault motor, finishing 2nd in the championship behind Prost in the FW15C, one of the most dominant cars in Formula 1 history. He had arguably one of the best races of his career at the 1993 European GP at Donington park. Going from 6th to 1st in the first lap, in a slower car, then dominating the race.

@SchumiSutil First of all, you need to consider that 1992 and 1993-Ford Mclaren couldn't compete with the best Williams, Ferrari and even Benetton. Senna proved to be the best of all times in Donington 1993. Schumacher is of course one of the greatest, but he got a super Ferrari and technical improvements in his cars. Then there is big difference from Fangio era, manual transmission era and automatic gearbox era. Considering all this, think what have done Senna...

@SchumiSutil Well, Senna also had a dominant car in 1989 and 1988...but difference is there a bit, as he had to fight for it with his teammate. Barrichello was able to beat Schumacher only few times and mostly in those cases he wasnt allowed to do it

At one of the stops, Brundle in the 2nd Benneton stayed out one lap longer than planned while running ahead of Schumacher. This was to do with the change between wets and slicks on a drying track. Schumacher saw the state of Brundle's rear tyres and knew he had to take slicks then, so he pitted and took slicks before going on to win the race.

Not really. You forgot that Michael was in this race in leadfar away from Brundle. Then Michael did to much and end up in green. That's why it looks like that they were together, but they weren't. He was in the green and at the end he won with a huge lead.

@el1986th I 'm not agree . The best period for the F1 was end of 70th and 80th. In that period there was many champions like Lauda, Senna, Piquet, Prost, Villeneuve, Rosberg, Mansell and so on. During the Schumacher era only HAkkinen was able to compete with him. In my opinion Hill was not good and Jacques Villeneuve (not able like the father) won only once. Furthermore there was not show. NOw I think it is a better show: we can see Hamilton, Alonso, Vettel, Weber trying all together to win
