@favabeans123 why not? It just gives him more enthusiasm and drive to play. The only way someone will actually want to play is if their instrument sounds good (and that if they stop their wasting a $2000 guitar lol)
One thing I noticed is that guitar is perfectly suited for your size. I believe that is one of the keys to your success. Congrats man. Hope you are rocking even harder in a year!!

You have the guitar chord shapes memorized really well. I'd say that's a good step for 3 months progress! I'm self taught, only been playing faithfully for about 2 weeks although I started years ago and still haven't got far enough to switch chords smoothly.
3 months? You play quite well, i have been playing for 9 months and watching your video makes me realize how bad i am. I don't have the best guitar, i don't have the best teacher but i play for hours and hours per day.

I'm 13 and I've been playing guitar since the year 1, so it's my 9th year. And I play as if I've been playing a month xD I know the chords. And I learn fast, but compared to all the years? I should be 1,000,000x better xD I suck.
I like that you play with out distortion, I play that way also. I figured out it was the eagles, just not quite able to figure out the name. I have been only playing for short time also and you play better. Good job can't wait to see your progress, it has given me incentive to practice harder.

several things
good timing and tempo for the most part - you've got a good bouncy knee that'll help with that :-)
playing clean is good as you can hear all of your playing and not cover any errors with distortion
strumming variety will come with time and study
