I noticed your poured water in so fast it spilled over the sides onto your hands. then you let your hands be hit by the clean water coming out into your glass. You seriously need to avoid this kind of cross contamination.
After one trip outdoors the filter stopped filtering. It blocked completely. I was on a trip for a week, this you don't want into the field. So the trust in this system was damaged immediately. I send it back to the shop and received another one. The same issue. After one use just a few drops. I contacted the lifesaver bottle company and didn't receive any answer. So is bad service, bad function, bad taste. The is also too thick and too heavy to carry comfortably in a backpack.
Not sure I like the concept. Seems you require 2 cups if you want to drink from one. 1 to scoop water and 1 to drink from. Of course you could just drink direct from the bottle. You also would not be able to use the bottle to take up water as it would contaminate the drinking or clean water end ?
Concept is good though given the right situation. Also the safety cut off seems somewhat odd to me. Imagine being stuck with no water at all because of this. Hope there is some warning
haha My dad is the one of the sellers of this bottle and i talk to michal pritchard tyhe macker all the time i also have my own and deffinatly worth the buy
i wouldnt buy from anyone but the original manuf.. there are massive counterfeits of just about everything you can think of and with survival equipment being in demand i wouldnt trust just anyone..your life may depend on it
arr i see now, it isnt the first ever water filter bottle, but its the first to have such small nananan bla bla filter to be able to get rid of everything. Cool, seen on ebay it sells brand new and sealed for a little less than the retail (like most things on ebay).. cheapest i seen so far is 65.00.. that aint such a bad buy to be honest.
Obviously its goto be spot on by law so a fantastic idea, i dont think its the worlds first tho to be honest, however its bloody excellent cos its easy to carry in ya bag... Only thing that bothers me is the cost, its a tad pricey aint it.
You obviously don't know what you're talking about because its been done before. Some Katadyn filters have proven for a long time to get rid of anything that fits through .02 microns. If Lifesaver can get down to 15nm, then it is completely safe.
You asked for lab results... Here you go, curtesy of the US EPA. Filter Specifications: * Cartridge service rating: 4,000 liters (1,056 U.S. gallons) * Replaceable activated carbon filter * Replaceable UF cartridge * Bacteria retention: >99.999995 % (log 7.5)(2) * Virus retention: >99.999 % (log5)(3) * Activated carbon reduces chemical residues including: pesticides, endocrine disrupting compounds, medical residues, and heavy metals

Water purifying tablets seem better to me, even less bulk to carry and they're a lot cheaper..

making tea and cooking requires you to boil the water first, therefore killing anything bad thats in the water and making it safe...

What do you do with the dirty suff that is left in the bottle?

Try to make lab test to see what's really is inside that water after going through that bottle. And get back to me.
The only one system i know that can filter pure H2O is reverse osmosis process, but it's way more expensive.
