Connect Music Festival 2007

last year was amazin! I still have my campin band on my wrist and aint takin it off til it falls off. I loved the atmosphere and a lot of the bands wer slightly unusual and this variety just added to the great vibe. But this years line up has really put me off going. Apart from Mercury Rev, Sigur Ros, Spiritualized, Grinderman, Goldfrapp and Sia,the rest of the bands are stereotypical festival bands. Kasabian and Nutini are just gonna draw a ned crowd n turn it into T.I.T.P 2.

Na man, how can you call the Preachers playing Inveraray TITP2. Yer wrist must be bogging by the way. Buy yer ticket, this year is bigger and better and you know your campin band will be on a for year again.

nah, im not goin. too many crowd-pleasers will ensure a different atmosphere. the same thing happened with TITP, the 1st 5 or 6 years wer amazin, after that it became overcrowded n unfriendly. i stopped goin after the 10th one. n my wrist is clean (shampoo n fabric softner have kept the band nice n soft n clean)

connect was the best festival ive ever been to but this years lineup is TERRIBLE!!(paolo nutini for fucks sake)the acts yet to be announced better be pretty special or it'll turn in to a mini Ned in the Park

This is a way better line up than last year and the tickets are selling like hotcakes the online ticket system could not handle the orders to start, everything appears to be moving now. Great line up with the preachers playing Inveraray wow...

good1066 its obvious from your comments that you are in some form involved with connect,and thats dandy.But this years line up is not way better its just way more mainstream(increased ticket demand qualifies this even more)Last year it was a very alternative line up basically across the board from the amazing headliners down to the lesser known.I went with 8 people last year, ALL of which i can tell you were gutted with this years line up announcement
