They could organize a comic con in London or something, I'm from Portugal but London is closer than San Diego. The cool stuff is always in America. It sucks!
@lucaslikesthomas yeah still getting used to the american try hards just getting on board with doctor who, i have been watching it since the 70's and im in australia!
@lucaslikesthomas well you must remember that doctor who has been on british tv since 1963 and is a part of british culture so there is not that much enthusiam for the show since its so well known but, in america doctor who didnt get major exposure until its revival in 2005 even though it was shown on american pbs stations in the 70s and 1980s it was basicly a cultish obscure programme.
@The1stDirector Honestly, it's because of the way it's pronounced by those with an English accent. Most Americans can't tell the difference between the "AHL" sound and the "ARL" sound with that sort of accent. That's why you see people spell it out "darlek" too. Annoys the CRAP out of me.

I agree that British Whovians are indisputablely cool on the whole (being one myself).
The Doctor fanatics from the USA just seem to be brilliantly and unashamedly bonkers about all things Whoin a cool way.
Maybe because us till recently they had to make a concerted effort to catch it- we've had it handed on a plate.
