  • LEOPARDS ARE THE MOST DANGEROUS ANIMAL COMPARED TO LION..

  • Thank you for so much good information and great pictures

  • Fabulous video, but the music volume exceeds the vocals.

  • This is what i want to do when i get older, Be in masai mara, Filming The big cats ruling the land :). What do you think it would require?

  • Awesome!!!

    I love Nature..

  • DUDE. You ROCK. I loved the video and the commentary...not too sophomoric and definitely not too intrusive. The football segment was nice, too.

  • that was awesome i loved this video it was really well made.

  • was just there. amazing place.

  • @b03y How was it? It's the rainy season now isn't it? The migration doesn't come until late July/ early August.

  • @Cvillemac Yes, it was the rainy season but I went with my school and it only rained for about 2 days. Did you go on a balloon safari? I wish I could have been there for the migration.

  • How much does a trip cost and how long does it take mate? Great footage for sure. Absolutely amazing.

Your voiceover is right on the money.

I just came back in 2 weeks but start miss Masai Mara

  • I miss masai mara

  • such beauti of cheetah

  • Wonderful video, you've inspired me to go to African one day.

  • Amazing how that lion dragged that buffalo away with seemingly no effort.

I mean, water buffalo weigh over 1000 pounds!

    What strength, what a predator...

  • stop preaching and fuck off you wacko.

everyone is sick to death of bible-bashing cunts like yourself.

  • Great Job. I went a few years ago and it was awesome. You brought back some really good memories.

  • Hello! When it's filmed???

Is that Cheetah with cub, a Honey? And her cub, Toto?

  • Yes, it is. Big Cat Diaries was filming the same sequence of the kill while we were there. We got lucky, they had been waiting 4 days to get that sequence, we were there for 10 minutes. Their footage is better though.

  • @Cvillemac That's Honey & Toto? Too cool!

  • @Cvillemac Do u know which cheetah cub it was that jumped on your car? Do u have any footage of the Marsh pride?

  • @liinaliina345 omg i loved that little cub SOOOOOOOOOOO CUTEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE i cried when i heard he died :'( im so jealous you got to see him you're so lucky

  • I stayed at the Keekorock Lodge, Where is this site exactly? Great Video BTW. I couldnt see the leapord, but took the baloon ride, believe me one of the best experience in my life.

  • We stayed just outside the Talek gate, which is in the middle of the north side of the park. This video was filmed over 16 days in the park, so don't be disappointed you didn't see a leopard. It takes lots of time and patience to see leopards, and a bit of luck. Thanks for the comments, it was was great experience for us too. I have more wildlife videos if you are interested in seeing more.

  • @Cvillemac

yes, we were there last 3 days and did NOT even see cheetah, leopard, rhino! Its a lottery if you see them!

  • We used a Canon ZR 600 which uses Mini DVs. It does well for Standard Definition. A tripod is a must. We are upgrading to an HD camera for our next trip. Thanks for the comment. If you like wildlife, check out some of our other videos.

    - John

  • I'm sooo proud to be an African right now ! thanx for the wonderfull video!

  • true.

  • You refer to the prey animals as game? You must be a stupid hunter.

  • I shoot animals with my camera.

  • really really good!

  • That'S what animals probably thing about those tourists:

    TINNED MEAT.

If they get out, then they will be eaten.

  • I was on the same camp site as you guys, the maasai there are really friendly :D

check out my video about Kenya too!

  • I enjoyed this dvd. It was the quickest 7 min. i have spent. Just love the cheetahs they never stop looking pretty even when full grown. If you love Big Cats go on the Big Cat Rescue site in Tampa Florida. It is gteat.

  • Don't worry: when you go back home, you can travel there. You will be able to do that if you are now earning quite some money. it is cheap there.

  • I went there 2 years ago, and we are going back next summer - its just magical.

  • This guy has the best voice I have ever heard! He should be a host for a show! Good vid. too

  • message to the BBC camera men/ladies on camera 2 curretnly just thought i's say we can hear you talking:) well i hope it's you not the lions i would post this on the message board but.....i'm not over 16

  • Lol.

  • ya testicles not that good of name

  • This is what i want to do when i get older. It looks exciting.

  • going places is cool. I want to study wildlife because its cool. Sry for the misspelling in the last comment.

  • Nice vid. I'd like to og exploring myself. Keep up the good work.

  • Great vid! thanks!

  • If you're still in Kenya, I'm sure, by now, you've heard about the white dude who was nabbed by lion through the window in Samburu, northern Kenya about 2 weeks ago. ROLL UP THE FREAKING WINDOWS.

    Great video nevertheless.

  • In southern Africa people drive in the parks in open top Landrovers. The animals don't care. I don't know what stupid thing they guy in Samburu did to provoke this lion. My windows stay down.

  • Just saw a BBC story that mentioned that tourism is way down in Masai Mara. This is because of the recent election violence in Kenya. Without tourist money, the funding to support conservation efforts is dwindling. It is a beautiful land - hopefully Kenya can bring back more tourists.

  • precioso viaje.Que envidia me das.Recibe un saludo desde Madrid.

  • um ok?

  • great video guys...do you have a myspace account

  • That's really unbelievable...I'm going there next August...hope seeing something amazing like this!

  • VVVery Proffesional i like ti.

  • beautiful, the cheetah especially.

  • Awesome video! I like the part where the

cheetah jumped on the jeep! So would you say

this is one of your favorite trips?

  • Very good!!!

  • :( :P

  • pretty nice...thx :)

  • Yo, you guys better start marking those spams in here man. People are just posting some bullshit like "BIGGORILLA92392" and "AboutHeaven221124154".

Please get rid of the spams people to keep Youtube clean.

    Thanx

  • I know it's frustrating. Half the comments are spam! I'm doing my best.

  • im trying to mark them as spam, but im not sure if it's to any avail......

  • i used to live in nairobi and i'v visited masai mara a number of times. It truly is a beautiful place. I was surprised that u said the masai's were not good at soccer. From experience, they kick ass. LOL. Anyway, this video was very well done. The research done was excellent.

  • yeahhh very cool video and by the way check the video of: super mario bros version cumbia. is great¡¡¡¡

  • Very Cool!

  • I am so jealous, I want to go there some day. I have a feeling your friendly cheetah might have been on the TV before, on the BBC's "Big Cat Diary"

  • You're right it was, they filmed the exact same cheetah kill as we did. Theirs is so much better, of course.

  • john terry is a goal keeper?

  • i'd have to say, john terry is one of englands best goalkeepers ever

  • wow

  • Well done. Thanks for that!

  • Africa is beautiful, of many places i wish to go some day, Africa is definately one of them. Thanks for posting this video x

  • Another privileged, rich white boy travelling around Africa and thinking he's doing a great service for the humanity. Get over yourself.

  • He never said he was doing anything great for humanity. This is just a trip. Come on, are you really that offended at the idea that people travel? It's about observing the wildlife.

  • Dude, you've 'favorited' a video on how to get a cow to lactate. You don't even need me to point out that your a jack ass!

  • Haha... This coming from a guy who favorited women's soccer. Why don't you just paint your fingernails while you're at it?

  • Sorry Deushbag, lactating cows trumps womens soccer in Deushiness.

  • So you're not only a fag, you're an analphabet as well?

  • Why yes I do enjoy sex with men, so I'm afraid there's no room for you on my dance card. By the way, I'm not impressed with the big words... analphabet... tee hee... ANALphabet... sounds like my kind of party!

  • fuck you and you look like an asshole

  • MY asshole kinda looks like an asshole... well... kinda....

  • It's so beautiful out there!! (L)

  • why do you say football you aren't brittish

  • It's what the entire world calls it, those who say soccer are in the minority.

  • IT'S THE LAW!

  • Google Get Sulky to get your fact straight..until than its not smart

  • I googled that hahah nice.. If i win ill find you and you can be the 4th

  • only north americans say soccer. to the rest of the world its football. and that's a lot of ppl! more then just Brits alone!!

  • Africaaaaaaaaaaa

my friend has a pet cheetah in africa it's so cool

  • Kudoos for this superb videoshoot, i bet you are in your free self now, the sight are so relaxing, grounding unbeleavably serene.. believe you me ave been there, i hope u never missed skidding on the muddy tracks..

    Emash

  • That cheetah had some serious balls to climb on the hood of the truck and hiss at you, lol. That would be one hell of a summer road trip. Great video.

  • Here's something useful:

    watch?v=EyJNBek01Rc

  • Great Video, I Bet You Had Fun Out There. :)

  • thats so cool

  • What you were not told and is clear here is that it is ILLEGAL to do off-road driving: the game rangers do not enforce the rule however, and you see all these tourists off-road driving to get to see carnivores like the cheetah killing prey here. The park will not survive so much off-roading for long. Someone needs to stand up and enforce the rules!!

  • oh well, i'm sure cvillemac has no regrets lol.

  • Thanks so much for posting this, Africa is just such a beautiful continent and I can't wait to go there. Any sites you would recommend for backpacking/game trailing east Africa?

  • I think i slept for the last 5 minutes of the video

  • But woke up just in time to write a comment. sleep well.

  • That's because you're probably an unexposed, brought up in the concrete jungle, potato-couch, never been farther than 10 miles from home kind of person.

  • lol. exactly!

  • An documentary that was nominated for an Oscar. Though few know of this, why? Look up: "fish heads Tanzania"

  • Who is bollidear with his rude comments to other people. I discovered polar bears AND lions yesterday and the bronx zoo. forgive me for not making it to masai yet.

  • Thanks for posting this! I have been to the Mara 3 times, and lived 10 minutes from the Talek gate with a Maasai family in their village. It was a life altering experience, to say the least. Kenya, specifically the Masai Mara, will always have a place in my heart. ;) The beauty of the people and the land-all of it's inhabitants, is tremendous. You did a wonderful job on this video!! Mzuri sana, bwana. Asante sana.

  • I WANNA LIVE THERE

  • wow i really loved this so interesting!! such an amazing journey.

  • U guys are stupid mann...how do u dare to observe a lion so close with open windows? I heard many cases of people from Europe being eaten by lions especially in Namibia after ignoring warnings from the local people.

  • No you are stupid. These lions are used to seeing the vehicles. The driver or warden knows these lions like his own children, and carrys a rifle for when things go wrong.

You have spent too much time in your sanatised world - this is real life.

  • and the lions in the zoo get used to see human as well...yet they still break the cage and jump on somebody time to time...

yeah..rifle, when the bullet hit the lion..

somebody already loses an arm or half of his face..

  • Yes but you, see, the lions don't like the taste of Americans, too oily.

  • Thanks for sharing. An amazing part of the world, would be somewhat scary to have a lion as your nextdoor neighbour though ^^

  • Do your parents know that you type this, young man? Learn how to spell or you're gonna have to flunk 1st grade again.

  • Very nice adventure. This is the beauty of Africa they shoud preserve it at all costs

  • That was a good movie. Except the part when you said tourists were annoying. What do you think you were douchy mcdouche?

  • The tourists are the hoardes of bus trippers that come on a day safari from the Mombassa tourist areas. These guys spent time in a Masai village living with the people. The game drives consist of a small group of 3-4 in a landrover and not 10-15 in a bus. There is a difference - I guess its too subtle for you to understand never having even done anything like this, or even having left your own country.

  • amazing.. lost for words really..

  • At 0:51 the cheatah didn't look very comfortable. I guess it was just looking for a better vantage point. lol

    Great video, what an adventure.

  • I agree! The animals are so different!

  • cheetahs are so cute!!!

  • Beautiful... 8)

I study the anathomy of a lot of the africa, and I recreate them in graphic illustrations :) They are amazing creatures! :)

  • it sucks that all those animals are so comfortable around people. the only people that should be allowed around there are the native people and the discovery channel crew.

  • Great footage. Thanks-

  • Damn, I would like visit that park.

  • Jesus, you Americans are so far up your own arses. Given the billions of $'s you put into your football - and yet you are still losers. Though in fairness your ladies team have done well - really well. So why not start all over again by trying to win against your ladies before takig on the Zimbabwe under 12's B team.

  • I piss on Europe

  • Yeah, you would probably know. Everything has to be sexual with you? Guess you missed the gist of the video.

  • Stop spamming you pious piece of shit. U are lost in ignorance and delusion.

  • Listen to this guy calling soccer football in a pathetic attempt to sound european and thus safisticated.
