Great game, but way too many sore losers and rage quitters when you play online. Trust me, there will be times where you're just about to get to the bank and win and one idiot goes ahead and resets his console, meaning that that the two hours you've spent playing one round goes to waste. Yes, an online game can take two hours. Very nice game, but I will not be playing this game online again. Too many stupid children.

I am officialy sick of seeing square enix characters with nintendo character. If you want to work on a project with nintendo why not SMRPG2? No offence but the addition of SE characters in this game make it look terrible, but that's just my opinion.

I worked at a game store that sold imports years back. I seem to recall this game (a predecessor, obviously) being sold on the DS in Japan, and I think it was fairly popular. That of course does not translate to popularity in the states, but I'm gonna give it a shot. I think to say the least, it looks fun if you're a Mario Party/Monopoly fan. Looking forward to the launch!

This was probably one of Nintendo/Enix's Better Ideas: To elaborate, this is a combination of Mario Party, a console series that mixes board-games with minigames, and Dragon Quest Casino, which can be found in most Dragon Quest games, not to mention the T'n'T board game in Dragon Quest V.

That being said, just because it's a good idea doesn't mean you should just do it. I don't think that this game will sell well; too rough for the title of Mario Party 11.5

@kome360 , technically the first Itadaki Street was released in 1991, while the first Mario Party was released in 1998. Also technically, it was a while before Dragon Quest was associated with the series, but still, the idea has been around for a long time.

At least Mario Party has been on a break for a few years so maybe it won't be as rushed and as bad as Mario Party 8. It's also being made by a different team, the one that made Wii Party, but a few people who made the previous MP moved to that team.

Guys, it's made by Square Enix and Armor Project, not Nintendo. Of course there's DQ characters and Mario's name isn't on the front of the title. :P It's in the credits.
