Hey, your the only ozzi iv'e seen on youtube with tritch... Im from australia too... I pull hair out in pretty much the exact same area as you, on my head... since I was 10 or 11? Im trying not to pull... and I just hope I dont cause Id really like to grow my hair back :/ I find your vids inspirational, hope u post another one just to update :)

hello, i have a thesis coming up regarding TTM and i am wondering if you are willing to contribute by answering one of 6 questions i have.... if you are willing to contribute i would send you the file of the quesitons... your story would be of great help

i also have the disorder, and many other related disorders, my hope is that through writing my thesis paper, i will be able to let the outsiders experience or at least realize our everyday lives... please rep asap.. deadline is on feb 16

FINALLY! wow - i feel like i just had the world lifted from my shoulders.... i truley thought i was the only person on the planet doing this until an hour or so ago when i decided to get online and google - WHAT A RELIEF TO NOT BE ALONE! thank u sooooo much beth, u r so brave! i hope to get up the courage to post a vid soon, but i will definatly be watching.... god bless!

WOWOWOOW!! Thank YOU sooo much for showing me another Aussie who has this! i've been watching videos, but hadn't come across another Aussie! Thank u soo so much! i was diagnosed when i was 21 - and i'm now turning 25 in June and still doing this!?!? i have lived my life without any eyebrows for a good 2-3 years, and now i'm finally letting let them grow, but i still have my bad days?! sooo frustrating! Thank u for showing me there are groups over here too!! -hugs- x0

Inspirational! Have had it since I was 7-years-old. I was in third grade and pulled out every single one of my eyelashes. I'm a guy, so I pull more at my face and chest anymore. Recently "come out." Admitting it to others and hearing of stories like yours make the hopelessness seem more distant. Word-for-word, you described my situation with anxiety. That fact alone makes the genetics notion seem less valid. I also hate my boss and my job ;-)

i am 13 and have had trich since i was 11 and i so like the word trichsters better than the actual plural for trichotilomania hich is trichotilomaniac. I hate that it sounds like we are all crazy

I have had this for a little over two years and i 100% agree with everything you said. I have decided to start listening to others about their own trich and it truely has helped me. And I honesly can say you made me cry when you showed your hair because you pull in the same pattern as i do. Thank you for posting. I think this video is very inspiring, atleast for me.
