@RoBU9564 It's the 7 inch version of Curtis Mayfield's "Suffer". Exile used the same sample on Fashawn's "Why" and 9th sampled the album version on "Beat 2" off Unreleased Instrumentals Vol. 3
r.i.p. Dilla. The fucked up thing is..this vid only has 52,000 views and no i'm not going to compare it to any mainstream artist im only going to throw my middle fingers up at the media and keep bumpin the real shit.. <3 and music!
If you think about it, its pritty crazy how music saves people, like the illuminati killing hip hop artists because there rapping about the truth. eg Tupac
In 2006, When J Dilla died, it was the worst hip hop lost that year. I was only 10 and i knew him a little. Damn, and 4 years from now....I miss Dilla so much. I hope there is something to bring him back but he's home and free at last. J Dilla literally changed my Life and i respect madlib for making this album for him. J Dilla is not gone, he's still here with us but not physically you know what i mean
Godbless hip hop. our savior to intact in our rightframe of mind to destroy all hopes of illuminati controlling our minds. hip hop saves the ones who are meant to be saved from this world of damnation. ILOVE U HIP HOP im never going to turn my bacj on u!
fuckin dilla and mad? god. the world really didnt kno how to handle that collab dude cmon ..its like putting mj nd ferocious shawn kemp when they were at theyre prime together..sick!
amen bro the mindcontrol goes deep but the roots of jazz funk n soul go deeper thank god for the real hip hop vinyl records 4 life my vinyl weighs a ton 2 peace
look, i love madlib. My fav producer, beatmaker hands down. But finding a sample and looping it is not genius, its excellent digging skills. Remember, the genius lies in the artists being sampled, whom madlib is paying respect to. Just sayin..this comment is gonna take heat for sure...bring it on!
precisely, i also respect him enormously for him learning how to play multiple instruments, for his yesterdays new quintet releases, the man has quite an ear for sound.
yea right i dont know why they say he only loops lots of it is chops and when he loops its like a bunch of loops kinda like big chops either way its amazing stuff
but it is genius the way they chop cause its so abstract and out of the box 2 use music as raw materiel 2 make msuic like msuic is ur notes its crazt and drums and bass especialy when u chop each kick and snare like chopping a 4 bar loop in 4 parts then u really can maniulate it
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
She on the phone wit pretty tone-while she whisper to me, why I'm here need to call Tyrone-He to probably been giving her the bone-When stones get thrown in the battle of the clones-use my jedi mind tricks to turn on my master-disaster in a bowl come get it while it's still cold-
u want madlib to make longer loops?? wtf?? i love it how madlib switches up every loop...thas what the dude does...thats madlib baby!! wouldnt be a expression of him if he did what erybodi else wanted him to do...sorry for venting maan, just offended me thats all
another reason is when you do this shit for life, you come up with alot of ideas. You wanna do a release of all the good shit youve done, say in a certain time period, you may have 100 ideas in a few months and alot are good, so you wanna just keep it short n sweet and its a better overall, repeated listen anyway. You stay prolific like that. I dont have patience for lame-ass shit that drags on! The way madlib does releases is just how I like those mixes to be!
Like if an ending-album track,so soulfull!!!So much emotions and after a raw and movement of the other direction that takes the song.We can say that everyone should learn from the Madlib invazion who can touch truly all the six billons that forms this planet earth excepts all the huge quantity of bitches-ass-niggas who prefers to listen to thrash-can-racist-men(don't have to say a name ,thy're on radio),i said this despitely the fact that i respect really each music composed by an human-being.
I had the same with some Dilla's beat. I don't understand why they are doing this. I understand, copyright, but hey they don't upload so much Madlib and Dilas music at all so users want to share with it and they stop it. Wierd.
rza, dilla,mf doom, madlib, and everybody else on the boards, salute!!!!! madlib killed this shit. loops and samples and beats, he's one of the top best that ever did it!!!
