In 2006, When J Dilla died, it was the worst hip hop lost that year. I was only 10 and i knew him a little. Damn, and 4 years from now....I miss Dilla so much. I hope there is something to bring him back but he's home and free at last. J Dilla literally changed my Life and i respect madlib for making this album for him. J Dilla is not gone, he's still here with us but not physically you know what i mean

another reason is when you do this shit for life, you come up with alot of ideas. You wanna do a release of all the good shit youve done, say in a certain time period, you may have 100 ideas in a few months and alot are good, so you wanna just keep it short n sweet and its a better overall, repeated listen anyway. You stay prolific like that. I dont have patience for lame-ass shit that drags on! The way madlib does releases is just how I like those mixes to be!
